The company said the potential partial sale of its Eastern Morocco portfolio, for which it announced the award of exclusivity and the entry of non-binding heads of terms on Nov. 6, is progressing.

Sound Energy said then that under the terms of the sale agreement, it granted an exclusivity period expiring on Feb. 14, in which the potential purchaser--a privately owned U.K. company--can complete due diligence on the portfolio and finalize a sale and purchase agreement.

"On the back of the recent U.K. election result and following recent inbound interest in our company, the board is proposing to take the opportunity to strengthen our capital position via this proposed fundraising, ensuring we maintain strong financial headroom whilst we progress the previously announced prospective transaction," Interim Chairman Marco Fumagalli said.

If the asset sell is US$29.8 then that alone is worth more than current market cap then we add in the cash already have plus any raise. Or am I looking at this wrong.
