Thats good news Darth ,I think the finance motor redress scheme will be water down , too much pressure on the FCA which is not fit for purpose .

Plus Lloyds has set aside £1.95 billion ,so we can go into new year in a better position .

Lloyds Banking Group is attractive to other banks and would not surprise me if a takeover approach happens .

Competition in current market is so great that the bigger fish will eat up the smaller fish .

Especially has all the skeletons are out of the closet.

Someone was responsible for the takeover on troubled bank HBOS

Yes it stabilised the banking sector

I personally have gained from all the market conditions that eventually took Lloyds Banking Group down to 26p

So its one of those things when dealing with shares ,some you win some you lose

Many year ago i too lose 100% of some of my investments Marconi , Baltimore tech ,Psion .

So i did get out of shares for many years .

Got lucky with shares due to covid so clawed back all my loses and in profit now with Lloyds Banking Group

happy just to sit on Lloyds only share I have .

Not interested in buying any other share or dealing Dailey too stressful and had my fingers burnt .

Many on here i am on physical gold , with has paid my bills since 2009 approx.

Sorry to hear this ,

i do know a chap that had £28000 in HBOS that went down to peanuts

Also many Lloyds bank employee brought shares through the share scheme and the price came down from over £5 to peanuts too .

The FCA should be brought to account ,its not fit for purpose as you see with the car scandal now .

My thought are with all who lose money then .
