I agree this could be answered in a few lines but not to me personally for that you will have to await an RNS that says "we have been running tests and acquired X blocks" or "since the efficiency has been proven during testing X miner has signed a contract to use our algorithms"

Investors here in my opinion don't wish to see further test results, they would like to see some revenue and signatures on dotted lines, but we have also seen in the past from a single twitter post how quickly this can move should their be a sniff of anything about to happen, I can also ensure you and anyone else sitting on the sidelines that should an RNS land that contains either of the above long term holders will not be letting go of their shares for free they will be holding on to them for 5p - 10p which is where this will go upon any announcement of success 👍

So they have lots of data, it just seems like a matter of compiling it all, unfortunately he would not tell me over an email 🤣

The testing statement was made on the 13th march update so only a month and a half not 4 months brew..... Unless you have read this in an earlier RNs?

Surely they would have to wait for block to first announce the release and completion of the chip? NDAs will remain in place until the third party says it is free for discussion, FG has stated in the videos that they were working with someone so, could be block imo

It has been mentioned in the past by FG that they were in discussions with the chip manufacturers, what if this was Block and their upcoming chip houses method C?

If I had money in shares I would definitely be tempted to buy some QBT back at this price 👍

However it falls in line with what I have been suggesting that they await the arrival of these new rigs, as porting to Bitmain seems to have been the issue, if these new rigs work with the methods their release could spark a new interest in QBT which of late has been fairly minimal especially with the recent rises in bitcoin you would expect that QBT would have also gained some rises. From these emails it seems fairly clear that they are awaiting the release, I also expect that there has been communication and also Block sending over a prototype MDK as they were reaching out to developers from the get go.

In regards to the whole open source debate, block do own their own mining facilities and I'm pretty sure that they will be using their own rigs rather than Bitmain so should QBT have shown them what they can achieve as I believe they have then there could well be some exciting new coming from this front 👍 I hope for you all that I'm correct in this and yes you will have to await actual news rather than my assumption from what I know, I am not here to mislead anyone into buying or selling nor do I have any shares in QBT or anywhere else, good luck to all 🙂

Been looking more into the MDK hashboard and surely QBT would have got their hands on these and be using them for the testing, they use 100x intel chips and are open source so free for QBT to alter and run tests on, while at the same time use these to develop their own mining rig prototype, if all that has been said regarding test results is still amazing even with the difficulty increases and these are applied to a prototype miner with all the methods within them QBT will have a good footing to approach miners or developers with this right and show the world what it can do 👍

Maybe the court money when it lands will be a nice injection for them to set up a small operation and expand on this using the upcoming rigs from block?

Why would I? I assume you are refering to comments made by fuzzy who has a friend that's an expert computer wizz 😳 thing is..... I have a mate that's also a computer wizz and he says fuzzy's mate is wrong 👍 also the cleaning lady here at work is Italian and she says her husbands, brothers, dog once pooped on fuzzy's lawn 💩 I'm glad we cleared that one up..... Admittedly the news releases are often confusing and it leaves people here arguing, I have told PR this in the past that they need to put clear bullet points on progress.

My view is that if they are testing the methods then they have them working either on bitmain or a prototype rig sent from block (MDK) or even that they have constructed their own prototype rig? Though reading about the MDK it appears to be open source and uses the intel chips x100 so if they got their hands on one they could well be using this with the methods installed and be achieving results on a rig that hasn't yet been developed but this would show Block what they can achieve and if the results are as good as previously published then Block would obviously take an interest in QBT

Why would they need to? If QBT have already proved they can install these methods on a prototype rig sent over by block aka MDK hashboard, QBT who quoted they have been testing over two major mining pools 24/7 and have hundreds of pages of data from these test, what would block need to send staff over for?

I have been saying for many months that things could suddenly change or new news could be released upon the announcement that Block have released their new rigs, and that day in my opinion is very close indeed, my belief is that blocks rigs will be both faster and more efficient than the bitmain rigs, or why bother releasing it? They have been openly asking developers for their help on creating this new rig and I'm confident QBT would have answered their calling

Even if there's no reality behind my theory that there have been communications between block and qbt, Block releasing a new rig soon offers QBT a new route to market which had been previously blocked by intel discontinuing their rigs and Bitmain reluctant to work with or allow the methods to be installed on their rigs.

Currently china dominate the market, America would do anything to better them and become the main supplier of mining rigs 👍

Because Block have been concentrating on the BITKEY project, now that's shipping they are back on with the rigs 👍

Yes no details in the email, however we know who bought the intel chips, and he states he can not discuss who because of confidentialities signed, we now know who bought the chips so not hard to put two and two together, it also says we are close to realising the performance of the rig, so perhaps block kindly sent a couple over for running tests?

My best guess would be that Block intend to use these rigs within their mining facilities, which wouldn't be included in the whole open source response some have been giving on here, using methods A and or B then an ideal scenario for you all would be that there have been discussions on the 3nm development using method C 🤔
