What are preference shares?? Say i have 1,000,000 old Lansdowne oil and gas shares and after 5:1 split i have 200,000 LRES new shares.

Are preference shares, shares that are given in addition to these free of charge,. or do we have to buy them and if so will they show up in ones account.

Well said Flashgarden, you hit the nail on the head. The Irish government would be better suited getting their finger out of their fat f++++n arses and pay more attention to looking after the native people instead of everyone else's imported s++t.

The government is guilty of shafting the country by importing energy from elsewhere and supporting other economy's, its like helping to pay someone else's mortgage and not only was Eamon Ryans finger up his a+++ his head was up there as well with his line of thinking.

People of Ireland just think about it never before has energy supply been so important to everyday life. Converting to green energy is a great idea but its not as quick and easy as one might think. Ireland may have 40 shades of green but it will still need fossil fuel for the foreseeable future.
