If i wasn"t a shareholder here i would still be very interested in developments here as I am with elsewhere too.

Everything has a price, as you will know from another BB you post on. I am far more interested in the science and news of progress than i am in individual investment needs.

I hope you research this well, ""mythical" IMHO is a very demeaning description to use. I have no idea whether a takeover will occur or when, in the meantime we have our admirers in places many dream of.

nomlungu, there is nothing mythical here. It is all about timelines.

The recent deals with CRUK and Biontech and our partners in the Grand Challenge are certainly not myth, so i will ask you for once, why post that???

Just a reminder of the new CRUK advert on television. I recall them quoting that 40% of us would get a cancer diagnosis by 2020. That is now 1 in two of us.

Incredibly 3 in 4 of us will survive that diagnosis by 2034. Lets all hope Scancell play its part in that, I will certainly be very grateful to see that.

Good advert too by the NHS on television urging people to go to their GP for early diagnosis, i certainly see that message hitting home with many. The fight goes on..........................

A ridiculous article in newspapers being discussed on Sky ""cancer victims being kept in dark over treatment". in respect of short/long term side effects.

Not in my opinion quite the opposite in fact, but very difficult when it is new drugs for treatment, also we all have different side effects, no size fits all, can you imagine consultants having the time to go through what "might""?, there is enough to do organising the right treatment, if it exists, and every step of the way there are help organisations ready to advise on numerous aspects. I think everyones question and focus is ""will i live""!!

Amazes me the carp the media put out, even worse that Sky spread it, what is the benefit to all in doing so.??

That has annoyed me, i could never critice what they do, the kindness or support, fake news comes to mind.

Thats certainly a lot of patients using Keytruda. I know a couple who i was close to many years ago, who both were diagnosed with brain cancer, worsened and used Keytruda privately as a last resort, both sadly died. Their prognosis was as poor as it could be, and for up to six months there was significant improvement. I guess its early days for data showing extended life and disease stability after what i considered to be a raft of "soft" approvals.

Sales are one thing.

There was such excitement at ASCO three years back with new treatments coming to the market, does anybody know what has been the most succesful since for survival? over so many indications.

Good posts guys, quality over quantity is better. Just 115k traded today, including Nex. Was rather hoping to see some momentum today, matters little to me.

We do have only until November to find out how succesful we have been, and was just thinking we only have 9/11 weeks before our AGM, not long is it, whether it be by train or whatever i intend to go.

Been a challenging week for everybody i guess, never been so happy to see thunder, lightning a 15 minute monsoon and rainbows before. Can"t help reminding myself of our M/Cap £46m, circa £10m in cash, valuing our IP at some £35m. Scib 1/2 fully funded for trials, MOD 1/2/3 under late stage development and that Grand Challenge constituting the value of the IP!!! Seems daft to me, we might not be surging through 12p at the moment, but the potential wets my appetite.

Nothing worth having ever comes easy i remind myself, take that as you will, just happy now to have survived this week TBH, and figures don"t lie (do they?).

Evening hyms, your post has just crowned the most enjoyable day i"ve had in five years. Good to see just a hint of blue and more so to get your feedback, which is why i posted that up. Hardly a secret that ive been less than happy, rightly or wrongly here for a fair few weeks..............until that ""discussion"" here between hotwings and inanaco.

Beneath the tone was some very good points, which moved me to mail CH ( in my rather blunt no nonsense manner

)and look at this Grand Challenge very differently. I share your thoughts totally, and had a couple of long discussions with fellow shareholders today, who incidentally felt the same as us. Wouldn"t it be something if we all used this BB to share our thoughts, and be able to see things differently by not being entrenched in our own thoughts from insights from other posters who we might agree with/like or not.

I started seeing it differently after a couple of posts played down the importance of this project, and see it as a clear stepping stone to our first commercial deal. We know the risks of our investment, each to their own, but how many companies of our size ever get as far as we have in working with such respected companies and leading lights in Oncology? I would say very very few. The opportunities are staggering and will surely play a vital part in Moditopes future.

Six years here is long enough to learn not to post ""we are cheap at this price"", can you only imagine the rows that would cause, lol!!! the market surely suggests we are not, but seeing our pipelines, market cap, cash position, and seemingly close to entering two combo trials with SCIB1/2, better people draw their own conclusions.

I too feel we have a great chance of "being in a great position, whether we win or not, as long as the science is proven. Lets face it many of us have waited a long time just for that. We don"t have that long to wait either......just a few months. This has been a pivotal year in my mind for a while and could well prove to be just that yet.

Thanks for your note. Not wanting to be evasive but unfortunately I am not at liberty to divulge that information. The Grand Challenge proposal includes a diverse consortium of academic, industry and clinical groups and there are detailed budgets associated with each member’s activities including ‘in-kind’ commitments by some. The key upside to the GC, if we are successful, is that significant resources will be directed to the development and clinical assessment of a new Moditope vaccine by some of the best minds in the field of immuno-oncology.

Really glad for the discussion about it this week, regardless of the actual T & Cs it has stimulated many thoughts, and got rid of a few misconceptions I had over certain details. Very excited TBH, I respect a couple of opinions questioning its importance and priority, but regardless of winning the prize money, which would be amazing ,regardless of the distribution we only have t look at who is involved with us on Moditope to see the commercial possiblities.

Actually cooler outside than indoors, struggling all the same, but catch yer later. In passing, what exactly is priced in?? and we have circa £10m in cash with a M/Cap of £46m!!!! Be lucky.
