No not regretting it as such, just didn"t need to feel any worse, just had no choice sort of, but hey infections can go. Just seems mine don"t, lol. I was really positive after it, just from waking up!!!, and just shows the euphoria of that dragged me out. We sometimes underestimate the power of the mind.

Don"t worry the complicated stuff largely goes over my mind too, but with our basic understanding when it is very well explained it starts to make sense (just a little). OK, lets have an encouraging week, have a good one too.

Some good RNSs pre 07.00 from the bigger boys like Novartis on data from ASCO, worth a look. What I am looking for from ASCO is data from combination trials, there are some 400 taking place right now and that figure was about 1000 a couple of years ago. Hence as we thought the earliest ones mostly involving a Pharmas big seller with another drug in their pipeline seems not to have had many great successes, as we thought again.

Roll on SCIB1/Keytruda, just up to four weeks away from first patient injected!!!.

We would all love to hear about your niece, hopefully next Sunday you will tell us, Hanoi. You have my mind thinking who this guy could be. Just one of the reasons I feel for this BB as I do is it could be anyone of near on thirty people, that is how kind so many have been and is why sometimes I say ""I guess all of us"" in plural, because I know how deeply so many feel about the battle against cancer, and how it has deeply affected so many of their lives, whether it be spouses, family or friends.

Am I glad I had it done??.......Well lets see what we learn from Fridays appointment, it was never about feeling better as it is my heart, cardio myopathy , COPD etc that makes me feel as I do, but if they haven"t got rid of the tumour I would have died, just a case of which one gets me first. So its been three weeks since the op, infections have been rife, so three weeks in bed, which is why I turned it down in January, but as I said I couldn"t do nothing in the end, so c"est la vie.

It"s funny chester I have a very close relationship with my oncologist, I hope everyone does, but he introduces me to peers and students as the guy who asks the most key questions, and as a result changed my last treatment accordingly, I too would love to see the full anser to that.

So guys, hoping as ever for magical moments, seeing my second team Tranmere Rovers get their second promotion in two seasons was one, seeing Chelsea lift the Europa Cup was very special and if I had three wishes it would be for Scancell to really suceed. So best wishes to us all and the team now in Philadelphia, June has the potential to be a month of good news lets send our karma to ensure that happens.

As you know from whatever research we might do more and more space is being given to this over the last couple of years. Given that Keytruda worked in 25% of patients, 75% of patients need a different treatment and for the NHS they would save 75% by simply not wasting it on not suitable patients. Staggering figures involved.,, but I have always had trust issues with medication ever since I was under pallative care from the Hospice, where they were alarmed I had been prescribed Morphine, Oromorpth and Tremadol in odious quantities at the same time for over a year, talk about a Liverpool Pathway, but I just wonder how much support the Big Pharmas give for a science that could really hit the bottom line, their sales figures!! Hmm...

I believe it is too now, and I do think many of us have given very good reasons why, I would add that during that time we have never been at such an advanced stage as we are now and although the BOD have taken a fair bit of criticism, some correct, some not, I think on the limited cash and human resources available we have a company to be proud of, lets now get the data!!

Tis true Rats, in my very early days I thought releasing data was the easiest thing, How long would it take to work out who is alive or improving?? But there is much more to that as I am sure we have all learned.

But again having data from our monotherapy trial will assist largely in comparing combo data, and it is the individual specifics that are studied to make a comprehensive report. So I believe at 3 months we will have significant data, and a further three months to report it and compile it into types and groups sounds realistic.

Morning chester, my understanding is that we should hear something after about 6 months, i.e. before Xmas/New Year.

Whether we get any comments like ""promising"" or patients have taken to the treatment well is anybodies guess. It can only be in the BODs interest to release ""significant news"" in the next few months, regardless of a commercial deal or not. IMHO

Well if going by the speed in which they grant final approval in Patents, that could be a very long time!!!

On a serious note i don"t think it will be that long at all, just privately worries me a bit what China and Russia could do, just my own thoughts on that.

Crumbs glad you mentioned that too, as would be the case for me data is one thing and I automatically want to hear how the patients are at every juncture. As we all know survival is key, but so too is being able to live a relatively normal life

One of the most moving stories was an article about America, where treatment often ends up with bankrupt families and worse still people were choosing not to be treated so as to be able to leave their families as financially in tact as possible. That is from the human aspect something reminiscent of a Dystopian type future, one which President Trump has highlighted many times but a hard one to call. In Mercks case we can only hope to see through R & D and takeovers the benefits to many in time. Better still Merck, contact Chris Holloway at Scancell, we would be very happy to hear from you, and I think you will end up very happy too.!!

Which leads to an important question. I haven"t seen it mentioned but have Scancell taken the matching treatment option in the selection process with Keytruda for our patients?? I would like to feel that is a definate yes as we have been linked to such technologies before, does anybody know for sure?

Seems the guy is a Biotech journalistic, worth reading for his insights, and they are expecting at ASCO for more results from Keytruda, now in 400 combination trials in melanoma, which indeed begun 5 years ago. A big part of my surprise at the 23% survival rates was it seems like only maybe three years since Keytruda was Approved but it is 5 years, where has that time gone?

So the end of this month we begin our trial with Keytruda, confidence must be high we are in a Combo treatment with them and they certainly have set standards as a monotherapy. Lets not forget our data as a monotherapy too is pretty compelling, so compelling and compelling go to battle together, and there will be one heck of a load of data to compare our data too. As you will see he tends to trade in amounts pretty similar to the 15k bought in Scancell. Good for starters eh!!

Ver true we don"t have to agree, but the question of codes is brought up rarely by me, as I explained a subject that hasn"t been proven, hence an open mind and i gave as ever just two recent examples which i said lets watch out for and both were very accurate. There have been many other examples where it has worked too I just don"t feel comfortable with its just luck and will continue to be open minded however much they rarely they do come up.

The MMs manipulation which I disagree with you maybe is not the best choice of words, but it ther job to confuse us (the 3 day rule helped achieve that), treeshakes are plentiful and I would just like to add that to what we call manipulation, maybe a tactict to get us trade is better and find it hard to dismiss as you have.

But as boom used to say, nothing wrong with agreeing to disagree, but i do think in this one the choice of words could be better. Thanks for courteous reply too and as i said to bobbust I apologise for coming over as I did, the last three weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster for me, I do regret the op and am a bit angry i changed my mind to have it, I knew i would be feeling as i do, and yes i feel a whole raft of emotions, one of them anger, so apologies again if that came through. Deadly, thanks for that post, I noticed that yesterday when I posted the last twitter message, TBH was too cream crackered to post all that, so glad you did.

Found that tweet about Volker Shulz interesting too, will do some research of him tomorrow, unusual tweet must be something worth looking at, if anyone has it would be interesting to know anything more about him.

And then onto Monday, into June now, can"t remember a time when we have been so volatile in the market, but one thing I find interesting is pretty much regardless of volumes, we are seeeing IMHO far more buys than sells, and when the sells add up they seem to be chunky amounts. Again IMHO only based on I rarely have Level 2 off during the day, and do 3/.4 dummy trades a day, it has been a while since the MMs seem to be fighting hard to get any real quantity of shares? Anyone disagree?

But like I say, it is pretty volatile, I guess like most shares on AIM, anybodies guess where we go next, but for now at least I"m holding. What I am hoping for is there are a few items of good news we could get in a short period, which could well see us realise some of our potential IP to reflect in the share price, which TBH at a M/cap of just about £20m I feel again IMHO is not truly reflected now. One for the brave, but the post from Cars during the week about looking at the fundamentals took my eye. For all the BS on most share chat forums there are a few very good traders around and I try and focus on them, and have learnt a lot from them, alas after a lifetime of trading in business succesfully I am the first to admit that trading a share has not been of my best achievements in life, sometimes it feels like I"m damned if I do, and damned if I don"t, but something I would say is in the business world I was rarely wrong in spotting potential in products or people, the variable was people can be very querky, and I feel the market is too, but even more so. It is those who freely admit to having a higher average (like me) that I relate too, and only a few on here who have been succesful that I choose to believe.

Anyway well past mine, very rare I"m awake this time of night, but pretty sure I will be fast asleep in very soon. Catch yer soon..........C7

Something we should also be aware of is how different a treatment can impact on another person with a different cancer.

Two close friends of mine, married. were diagnosed with brain cancer 3 years back within three months of one another,(how weird is that), they must have spent in excess of half a million on Keytruda, available privately only, and both passed a few months later, just a couple of months apart. I haven"t researched brain cancer, but know of two other people who passed the same way.

Inanaco good to see you back, something that will surprise you is that it was six years ago next Friday since you visited me in hospital, will always remember that.

Just goes to show also that there are a couple of other treatments that are working too, and how much of the market there is for eveybody. With diagnostics and matching treatments to a persons individual cancer we can only expect these figures to get better.

As RG always said we are here to treat cancer as another disease, extending survival rates and having as few side effects as possible. That is why so many of us are here. Who wouldn"t wish for that?? ATB

Nobody has ridiculed him for that, that has been made very clear. Do you not read the posts?? Or do you just comment on what others have thought out and give them marks out of ten. It would sure be good to hear your opinions and why you think they are credible rather than jumping in when it is not necessary or just reposting what is freely available to all if they want to read ADVFN.

Just read the crap he is posting now. Another lie. I had four posts removed, which I posted, which were for posting live data, even if two of them were about volumes and one was about a trade that had taken place an hour before and freely available to all. Not one other post was removed, that is a fact, but the person who blatantly lies and has been caught out every time you make no comment about at all. Really don"t get it my friend.
