Certainly seems that way for a small Biotech on the AIM market, valued this morning with a M/Cap of just £19.2m, The best judges of people and companies is by the company they keep and increasingly over the years people who matter have noticed us, trust us and taking us very seriously. It fells to me as if many are willing us to get back into trials and just waiting to see more data. I have learnt to respect timelines, however frustrating it has been for us, and often wonder how we arrived at where we are with the limited resources, both financial and human at our disposal. It really hit home even more reading Aprils PDF where it says we have 23 staff now, 12 of whom who have Phds to their names, and it riles me when some criticise our approach to PR, financial incompetence and lacking the ability to sign off commercial deals. Even when we look at our solicitors, advisers and accountants we are surrounded by the right people with a wealth of experience to see us through negotiations at the highest levels, seems very clear to me that RG and LD have learnt so much in the last few years, and even Chippers who takes constant criticism from our friends over on ADVFN was in reality the man who took over the helm at a time when in retrospect Superglue seemed the only option. He put into place the stratagies which have taken us to this stage and it was he promised to expand staffing levels and senior management whch IMHO we can clearly see now.
This BB too has taken too much criticism again IMHO, we have many excellent posters whohave given us so much information in regards to the Science, Konar you have been in charge of Patents, lol, and have made me lazy, and Deadly is in charge of Twitter.
The performance of the share drives the criticism, and the FT article cited delays to the SCIB1 trial in America as being a major reason for the SP decline. I actually think what was happening to City Financial as far back as July of last year has been the biggest factor, known to the City and sadly missed by us all, except for the best researched holders here who fled in the mid teens, and of course the constant scrutiny as regards to our funding which starts the moment we do raise and espite that in recent weeks we have clawed back the losses down to City Financial selling compounded by funding issues.
So from me, I am far happier being in than out, and genuinly do believe we have never been better positioned to secure a commercial deal. Time will tell, but I rather think there are many items of good news to drive us forward, despite often feeling we have to really work hard to secure our rises and that is when consistantly almost every day we see buys outweigh sells not just in volumes but in individual trades too.
Anyway guys, goodnight and remember just about 14 working days to first patients injected and the potential for news on all fronts. Catch yer tomorrow ATVB
