Well thanks for putting it up, seems like it was me, you and ratty who saw it. As you say it showed cancer from an individuals perspective, a family, research and a joyous ending, and to think hust a couple of years earlier George would not have made it.

That is why as you say it is hitting the headlines now, people are surviving longer, and as James Allison said, ""he does not think we are too far off using the C word. How amazing is that, and wasn"t it RG who said years ago that we hope to treat cancer as a chronic condition? It has been on my mind for two weeks now, and somehow from that documentary many things Scancell are doing, and have said just clicked in my head. Did you feel that?

Again thanks. 2cvguy glad you saw that programme I was quite mesmerised by it. The final 30 mins was a massive validation for Immunotherapy and indeed the work Scancell are doing. The meeting with James Allison was special too. The oncology market has changed so much the last five years IMHO, and the work of Lindy somewhat mirrors James Allison. I do think we are now entering trials exactly at the right time for commercial opportunities. Lets hope so.

Beautiful morning here in London, and for the first time in many days it feels cooler. Not sure where you guys live but boy has it been hot here.

I notice on the Scancell Twitter feed they still haven"t put up this Investors Show on the 17th July, but as bobbust said the event is full. Maybe indeed as one of three presenting companies demand has been high for us too, with patient recruitment probably well underway already. An exciting time for all those in Scancell and us PIs. It has been too long out of trials, our expectations and hopes can begin again.

As I asked yesterday, would like to hear from our best researched about the stages of cancer we are trialling in, and where if as I believe it is in Stages 3/4, do we stand commercially in proving our treatments can be used in early diagnosis, Stages 1/2 and as a prevention early. Look forward to your posts, and enjoy your day.

For many years I have been indebted to the guys on this BB, in short I lost my parents 6 years back, my mothers sister, and soon my estranged brother and this BB has been like a family to me. We have lost a few posters due to cancer, been so supportive to me and I know there are others suffering with cancer, or there family are and it could not be more relevant to all of us what is happening out there.

In six years chemo has become kinder, surgery more succesful and the oncologists talk of extension to many peoples life. I guess I will always see things from a patients view, they are the real unsung heroues that go into trials where we get our bloodline, data.

My only advice to all here is try and check out what UCLH are doing, their new enormous Proton Centre is opening next year, five years in the making, and immunotherapies will be accomodated there too. I mentioned cancer destroys your mind, it has for me over six years it has been exhausting, never bottle it up and get help, I didn"t, a big mistake.

I have them very helpful, but i wanted to share some very good news with you today, my recent cryoblation treatment for my fourt tumour in the lung has been ablated and I am in the clear. for the third time insix years.

I Think it is crucial to gauge where Val have got to, dosage regimes and what looks to me as a long time in further clinical trials with the finances not in VALs hands to take further. Without this knowledge how can you hope or promise anything that is still at an early stage. I too, as many know researched this share very fully posting RNSs over many years and the same promises made in them. They are where they are for a reason, as indeed was my preferred share a few weeks back.

The beuty of a BB should be to debate the pros and cons and formulate your own opinions. IMHO the share has had so many promises that were merely hopes and has caused this SP we see today.

Try opening your minds, no name calling, no conspirices and make up your own minds.

Well you can strike me down, for the third time I have just been given the all clear!!! An amazing feeling, and more importantly your good wishes for my brother (also a shareholder here) mean so much more.

A really weird feeling, just seeing the tumour blasted away by cryoblation (look it up). Tempered enormously by my brothers condition, who had the same surgery by the same surgeon, in the same hospital a few months ago. Tells us how random cancer can be, how it can mutate so differently in all of us, and these are the things we learn by Keytruda for example working in just 25% of patients. No drug, no surgery, no radiation fits all!! Very sadly.

Still feel the same the heart wont repair, nor will my breathing, but mentally cancer destroys you, so as its the third time, will say no more, and just hope my scans in three months time are still clear.

Going for my scans tomorrow from the cryobleation a few week late now, a scan and meeting with the Cancer team., thanks to my pals who are taking me, just don"t have the strength.

Saw my brother last week, after some while he had just weeks then, now it would appear days, now no food for 34 days, just waiting for myphone to go.

A crazt time, hope to bring cheer next week with me, who knows. ATVB

I think anybody who has got to know you over the years...1) has found it a pleasure, and 2) know exactly what you meant. To have been able to get this far with all the development it has taken, and ready for three trials is very special in itself. And then of course there is LD......................
