RE: So how have we done in the UK ?10 Jan 2022 06:49
Morning guys/ TF. I think Japan is a reasonable barometer to use, not sure how reliable their figures are but I would give more credence to their declaration than the likes of India and ****stan to name just two, and only 8% of their population actually live in rural areas where I believe it is impossible to get accurate readings.
Just by way of comparison in India 65% of the population live in rural areas, and in ****stan slightly lower at 62%. Rural areas by definition by way of population includes remote villages populated by less than 2,500 people. One of the reasons I am somewhat sceptical when comparing different countries and continents is too often they fail to compare urban and rural areas, and as you did mention whether the example compares with densely populated areas or not. Apologies if it came over I was specifically knocking your post but throughout since coronavirus first came to light I have been repeatedly put off watching Sky News for example, before preferring a more balanced viewpoint funny enough on Al-Jazeera news.
As I mentioned yesterday, hindsight is a wonderful thing, simply conclusions after the race has been run and I am sure as time moves on there will be ever increasing "hindsights" as to who called it better than most. guess for that reason alone some if not many news stories seem to me be missing the most important factor which is data over a period of time ad we have seen many examples of that just in the capabilities of different vaccines whether it be for particular age groups or not.
I had my booster jab a couple of months ago now, to a large extent as I am in Group Two as a vulnerable person I have been largely spending my time at home, except (if it ever stops raining!!) popping to a really good cafe in Victoria Park, Finchley, where I met you sitting out in the fresh air and pondering the odds that we are sitting on a potential asset that will have life changing outcomes for some of us and certainly me.
Setting just realistic targets for now, and will gladly take us knocking on 22.50 this week, without news. Obviously really looking forward to getting any data from the Covidity trial, but that is perhaps our quickest route to commercialisation, it is the cancer trials really getting underway that will sate my real excitement. Here"s hoping for a good week and for the share price to see real gains a little bit of left field news wouldn"t go amiss. Take care.
