RE: New clinical trials unit will boost research at Clatterbridge13 May 2022 16:46
JohnyB1,
Just watching Sky News, talking about Deborah James, who has been given a Damehood for raising £3.7m for Cancer Research since she was prognosed with incurable bowel cancer, She kept her followers fully informed of treatments she was having, and it was her wish that all sufferers could share such information in life, in the hope that someone just might benefit from her experiences.
You did a good thing sharing the information you did, but it comes as no surprise to me that familiar faces would try and paint a different picture on what you did. Ignore them buddy your input here has always been excellent but as I have said many a time anybody such as yourself will come under attack until you no longer can be bothered to post as you do.
Now you know why so few people bother sharing their thoughts here. Keep it up buddy, Dame Debbie would have been thrilled to have heard from somebody who really cares.

PROMOTING??? Hardly, what is wrong with informing somebody of what what might or not be possible outside of conventional therapies and yet to be widely approved products.

I would have no doubt that the poster Johny B,"S only intention was bourne out of compassion and that simple feeling we get of hoping we can help where we can.
What possibly would any company say other than we can help, we can"t help or have you tried this number???
Ruck, absolutely correct. Either you are prepared to do anything to cling to life or you no longer have the dsire to go through another mentally draining process. Once a patient has been recruited it is to me very unlikely not to proceed to FPD asap, that is how urgent it is, and I still feel we will wait until we are FPD in all conditions before getting the bigger picture news. Going through various forms of reatment over a period of time is mentally exhausting and physically draining, I understand only too well how a patient can decide they cannot physically or mentally take any more.
Hi violindog, hope you are well. Maybe, perhaps we have decided not to RNS FPD yet, but until we have recruited patients in different conditions so as not to create a prescedent in reporting every FPD in all conditions?
Violindog, Just my opinion but we have enough trial centers to recruit patients as and when trial centers geographical suit qualifying trialists, We cannot afford to screen, unless dosing is as quick as is humanly possible. These are seriously ill patients,
miavoce, indeed,I was asking just recently when we had the first in a series o f conferences coming up, reminded by we had about3 events in short succession about to begin.
Does anybody know when and where the others are?
Buoyed now by receiving FPD in ModiFY TRIAL in the short term and of course data and numbers in the COVDITY trial too, now entering month 5 Q2.
