They obviously won't be attractive if the SP remains near 1/3 of 1.6. The assumption when issued in a placing at 0.8 was that the price would more than double from there once things were finally agreed, funding begun and things underway. That was before there was a clear effort to drive it down to 0.55-0.65 range and keep it centred on 0.6, but that relies on a lack of volume. The question is whether volume will arrive and be sustained once everything gets underway.

In practice if the project looks to be going well they might convert and sell some for a quick return but hold the remainder for the real bags.

well, they need them converted to provide finance but I'd misremembered the trigger price as necessary, but of course it's not, so holders could convert at any reasonable premium to 1.6

That was an interesting point that I'd also overlooked, that the >=2.4 trigger was to force a choice about exercising within 30 days but they could be used before that.

It's a little mystery, because they never obviously take advantage of the position one way or another.

1.60 isn't the necessary value, that's just the exercise price. For exercise, there must be a closing price of >= 2.4p for 5 consecutive days.

Indeed there have been few trades in the book (now that IG shows it again) for the last few sessions. Just 1 today.
Part of the problem is that having signalled that nothing much will happen until next month, people just stay out until nearer the time. Still, a few larger buys have appeared. It's the sells at this level that surprise me.

Larger trades get better prices

I can understand buying at this level, but who could be dumping as much as they have over the last two months at 0.58 and below?

Currently all my IG web and android apps don't show the L2 entries for KEFI. Other SETS shares are fine.
Anyone else have that, or is it just me?

What that might suggest is that if an intraday RNS appears with the sign-off, this thing really might finally roof it.

Possibly the (in retrospect, sensible) "sell in May" group will slowly start buying back in.

It could be that one broker doing a large trade for a client couldn't proceed and gave it up at that point to another after all. Still both big and odd, though.

Hmm, that was flagged TNCP (XOFF,ECHO) which might explain the reversal in the data shown here. Give-up/give-in trade would be unusual nowadays, so I wonder what it was?
