It did seem a bit odd much earlier when TPLF said they weren't sending aid lorries back because the region was short of petrol (owing to blockade), but they were somehow going to feed military and other vehicles for an advance on several widely spaced fronts. Obviously they could loot it on the way, but eventually those supplies would dry up too. And indeed many pictures had many of them on foot.

There's a curiously theatrical tone about pronouncements by all sides, which is perhaps a cultural thing but it does make it harder to decide what's actually happening.

I assume the "signing ceremony" is being held in Washington to try to give the impression that it's somehow got US support. Historically, organisations with "Liberation Front" or "Liberation Army" in their names are unlikely to be, in fact, liberating, being more usually armed gangs inevitably with 1960s Marxist vibes. Still, with some of the current lot in charge in the US, who knows? Unfortunately, I assume no one really critical from any of the groups will attend the ceremony from Ethiopia, otherwise it would be easy to exclude them on return.

If the price changes during the day by more than a specified amount, in any share, that can trigger an intraday auction, and you get the same RNS. It also has the side effect of suspending algo trading, so algobots are usually set to avoid causing big enough price moves. There's at least one algo trader active in KEFI (the trades are marked as such by the exchange). The trading strategy is obscure.

It just means that during an auction the price(s) shifted by more than a specified percentage, so the auction time was automatically extended to try to get a stable price. In KEFI's case, it would often be enough to hit either the bid or the ask once during the auction if the spread is large enough (maybe 1.50 and 1.70 say). The extension often doesn't yield a different price after all.

I use them to filter out tediously repeated unsupported assertions and nonsense.
