Marineville, what means "implying"? Is it "not sure"?
Apart from travelling the UK and several former british colonies, such as jamaika, Singapore, Hongkong and australia, I've not actually lived in the UK, except for work practice in finance.
Long term I like Singapore, because I like the fact that people greet you on the street - without a knife. Also I like its innovation and safe way of life.
(Too many problems ahead in Europe, with Russia trying to gain more and more influence.)
Me, I have always been fascinated by commodity stocks / oilers & miners where I held a vast variety of shares. Even odd shares like GCM or GKP which have several different waves of rising.
This brings me to the UK, SA and Australia. And some of the current gains I might park in the Canadian bluechips who are buying south African gold miners.
I need shares that do large swings. This brings me to the FTSE. Take a look around and you'll see giant drops followe by a huge rebound. PFG/Provident for instance.
Over the years I found out that there is a decent number of quality AIM shares, that hold very stable, and where even UK investment funds are invested.
(If I hadnt been an Onzima holder, I would have never got involved this true Pennystock.)
