RE: Future share price5 Sep 2020 19:36
Hi, well if USA continues its sell off next week most shares will fall. Not just tech. I don't see any chance of £18 90 this year or next. Too many challenges faced RDS for them to turn things around within that timescale.
1, no vaccine for cv19
2, huge fallout of problems from cv19
3, oil price can not get beyond $44
4, huge glut of oil
5, many geo political & macro problems that are gonna take ages to overcome, if ever.
6, dividend has been cut by 66%
7, still no Brexit
8, RDS profits were in steady decline prior to all the above began to happen.
As I said before the parellels with Vodafone were huge. A glimpse of that message board is total dispondacey, which I believe will be replicated on this board going forward. Unless dividend is raised or oil price jets up to 80$ , then these low levels will become the norm, just like Vodafone, Tesco, Sainsbury's, bt. Etc etc. People can disagree as theirs alot of del boys around, this time next year . Yeah right. That's my take on the reality of the situation. £18.90 , more chance of Aston villa getting into the champions league before this gets to that price imo. Hope I'm wrong in my accessment. But I can't think of any share that has recovered in less than 3-5 years from the position RDS now finds its self in. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt I will be.
