little reminder why we are here:

For any newcomers, who have probably done their research, this is just the beginning. It isn’t just that TOM have got 1.2-1.5 billion barrels of oil. They have the only successful means of extraction of oil shale, which covers vast areas of Utah and surrounding States. The means of extraction is quick, setup takes about 2 months, environmentally clean compared with other means of oil extraction, such as fracking. The previous Field Tests were successful, but TOM were not allowed to use their results, hence the current Field Test. If this Test is successful, I believe the aim is to try it on shale oil, that has to be ‘fracked’, and which does not make money for fracking companies. If it works on shale oil, then TOM with Turboshale will be the most valuable oil company in the USA. Not just imho, but based on the numerical facts of the area.
previously, I believe the cost was 9-10$ per barrel, but the oil companies were too busy with Middle East oil. I, like many others, cannot understand why little old TOM get hold of Turboshale. I can only presume complacency by the big companies. So, we can expect a price of 15-25$ pbo from Turboshale.
Chevron tried to get into the Texas Permian Basin by making a bid of 35 billion dollars for Anadarko, but outbid by Occidental. Lucky Chevron, probably looking at TOM right now....
How high can the sp go? Nobody knows, but a lot higher than the here and now. It will be interesting which company shows interest first with either a JV or a buy out.
