Interesting RAH, 4 of the people you have named I have blocked for their rudeness and arrogance. I don't see how you think that such outrageous language directed at people who have different views can be 'easy on the eye'!
They're the ones that should be gotten rid of.
Hi,
This is a genuine question, so don't shout me down for being negative on a day where a fantastic RNS has been released, but if we continue to keep dosing patients from early cohorts (maybe because we can't morally drop them from the trials because they're actually making progress), does that mean we may be treating a higher number of patients than we anticipated and so the cash burn rate may be a bit higher than anticipated?
I could imagine a scenario where we have such successful results, that more people push for additional patients to be added to the trial and more kept on the trial because it is actually saving/extending lives.
Polite responses please 😊
Steady, do you not understand the difference between gross profit and EBITDA?
Gross profit - profit after direct costs = 50%
EBITDA - Earnings Before Interest Tax Depreciation and Amortisation is the profit after all overheads etc which is stated for Coris as being just £0.35m on sales of c4.6m
Think you need to re-work your numbers!
"Due to this, Avacta has taken the commercial decision to halt the redevelopment of its own AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 antigen lateral flow test."
This seems an odd thing to do given it was best in class.
Such a shame after all that effort
It would be something if it were...

That's a fair point Codejunkie, but one could argue, especially for the nervous ninnies, that the SP fluctuation does actually indicate that there is something we should be worried about. I don't believe so, but there's always that possibility. 🤞🤞🤞
Codejunkie, "I'm not understanding why you are "Worried". Worried means you either don't understand what you have invested in or don't understand the market you've invested in...."
If this were the case, then that suggests that absolutely nothing can go wrong from this point, which is patently untrue, otherwise the SP would be much higher.
Don't misunderstand me, I have a high-level of confidence in the company, and expect a very high return for my investment, but it doesn't stop me trying to understand what potential pitfalls there are, and what is the likelihood of us tripping up.
If it was 100% certain, then we'd all be re-mortgaging our houses and going all in.
Just imagine, at RAH's fair value it's a 3-4 bagger, and at a £10bn buyout you're in 30 bagger territory. What's not to like?
Sssshhhh though, we don't want everyone to know until we've all filled our boots
