I think the key here is quite simply !

Firstly you have to ensure the business is sustainable without the diamonds other if news were to land of them alone some if not many would take the profit there and then ..

The dilemma would then be the SP would crash and 'AP' would be looking for funds to keep the lights on, which of course would be a concern because the likelihood of the masses buying back would be slim ..

So, it's make the business viable, sort the debts, announce the diamond news, and in that order !
