Stephen is a senior executive with over 35 years in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry and was appointed CEO of Echo Energy PLC in November 2023.

As an “Integrator” and “Fixer” he has leveraged his technical strengths to manage and operate business’s across Europe. For the last five years he has been involved in company turn-arounds, regional business & strategy development and fund-raising activities.

Stephen is involved in a portfolio of activities including Ossian Energy, as an executive advisor on Commercial, Technical, Operational and Government matters, Live Company Group as an independent NED and Coro Energy as an independent NED. Stephen advises private clients on projects in Africa and Eastern Europe.

Following his early technical career with Britoil, BP and Total (Elf) Stephen co-founded, grew and divested several consulting businesses and most recently has been involved in a number of start-ups.

Echo Energy (ECHO) resumed its recent recovery in the wake of last month’s debt restructuring news, and the previous month’s new CEO news. It would appear that the turnaround does have legs here, and that above 0.1p – old December support, the shares could push ahead to the 0.25p zone in coming weeks.

New experienced CEO should have the contacts to shake things up here now and start delivering results!

Huge amount of shares were churned yesterday, could say it was a pump & dump, but there are lots of newbies here now so maybe the start of good things to come!

The next few weeks and months will be interesting..
