It is worth remembering flowback commencement only began 11th June, that is just 17 days ago - we haven't even reached the end of June yet. The summer season may well be relatively short in Alaska but there are still many more weeks available for analysis, manipulation and re-analysis as well as a plethora of other techniques and industry expertise that can be tapped into.

I think an updated plan and timeline release is highly likely to happen. If the plan could be executed successfully this season and at no or little extra cost the market would be much happier, if it required more extensive work (even into next year) I would think those looking for short term gains would go elsewhere but long term holders would be happy to sit on their hands. I have a bigish holding but it is only a small part of my portfolio so I'm liquid enough to have the luxury to wait for years if necessary. I can understand others may not be.

Someone else with industry knowledge will have a full answer, my belief is that IW1 was designed to gather, among other things, the knowledge needed to design the fracture stimulation. The analysis and design took months and the specifics then needed approval from Alaska DOG to proceed.
