I think it is more of a strategic approach by the state
EUA are up for sale so MT could have gone to someone else - highly unlikely as the Gov would be calling the shots IMO
Give EUA the area to sell on, on the terms the gov want knowing full well the winner of the fsp will be x. (x being in my view NN.)
Also gets round competition laws (if any) by just giving x company the mines with no auction.

I have re read the RNS from last Friday again as puts a smile on the face. Every time I read it it sounds like this part is James applying for a job/new role. Could just be me.

They have 24 months to decide whether to select none, some or all of the mines. I read this that nothing has to be done for 2 years and they could notify intention on the last day if they wanted.
If however they require to start the development then they would require notification to take on much earlier.
Also unsure whether the date for the 24 months is from last Friday RNS or the 31/12/2020 as mentioned in the RNS

The decision on whether to proceed and thereby incur all or part of the Earnout is wholly at the discretion of Eurasia. The Earnout (if Eurasia decides to proceed) will be spread over the period of the development of the Additional Assets. Eurasia has 24 months in which to decide whether to select some or all of the assets to develop. If Eurasia determines not to proceed with any assets, no consideration would be due beyond the Initial Consideration.

The Additional Assets have a total of 104.6 Moz Platinum equivalent resources as at 31.12.2020 (source: Russian Feasibility Study ("FS"), TsNIGRI, Russian State Cadastre of Mines) according to the Russian standards and are comprised of:

I believe they were too risky for IG - as in IG could loose too much money on the CFD's as the shares were to volatile.

Hi Travis,
Trying to get my head round this.
So someone has a large buy order (no doubt an II) under 30p. Current SP is higher than 30p so they open shorts to manipulate the SP under 30p. Then people sell under 30p and that is used to fill the order and we stay there until the order is filled (the more people sell the quicker we are released) If PI buying pressure comes in they open more shorts to get it back down - rinse repeat.
If no one sells therefore under 30p is the order then cancelled?
