@Bannor - Muscats and ghee bhoondhis. There is a shop called Bombay Sweets in Colombo. They make the best of them. I have tried in many places but yet to find anything close to that taste.
And also try vaddilappams. Sri Lankan restaurants should serve them but given that you've been there, you may have tried it. I recommend the ones where they use sweetness from Areca Palm.
Thanks @MLQ. I was tracking it for Cineworld. I was hoping it'll help me with a good entry/exit points. :')
They seem to have some AIM but the one I was looking at is marked as in SQ3. Syme. I read their TR-1s and there is nothing to indicate the shares were paid back..It's all murky.
Does anyone know if shorts are shown here on LSE for AIM?
The reason I am asking is because, another stock I have in my portfolio seems to have a very large short position as per their TR-1s. The short was started last year and has a life time of 2 years unless the party loaning the shares decides to recall them. Yet, it doesn't show in LSE shorts.
And if anyone thinks this board is bad, head over there. It is mayhem.
Good morning @masterbaker and good morning to Frankie too. Glad you read the thread.
That was my understanding of spreads. I put myself at risk of losing money I don't have if I play with derivatives and such. Unfortunately I have had friends in debt that they can't get out of through spread bets. I'd rather make less money and have peace than risk my mental health for greater profits. :') especially with my knowledge of the markets.
Jam tomorrow maybe?
@eyeguy - Out of interest to learn, how will closing a spread hold back SP unless the spread was long and the party sells out? Especially if your spread is short, wouldn't you need to hurriedly buy the shares back to close your spread hence pushing up the SP?
I genuinely don't know how this all works so would appreciate knowledge shared.
Of course, I welcome answers from all. :)
There was no licensing issue as far as I know. Mostly economics I believe. There is also an argument that it was done to absolve AA of labour responsibilities. There is a seperate case running with the courts where AA has again been made passively responsible for Zamin's labour debts.
Port Watchers. This maybe of interest to you..not sure if this is a historical event or current event..
