Welcome - yes we need some sort of rules/agenda/aims (probably in reverse order) and as Arsenal says we need control of membership - there is a small mumber of weird people that stalk these BB's

Private would be good - I don;t really want to bore my FB friends with share talk and vice versa- not an expert on FB just use it to keep in contact with old mates

X19 20-40 would be good - not enough to have much of an effect on a share though - it depends what we are trying to achieve - is this going to be a share club - or what are the aims?

I don't use a smartphone - is there anything computer based we could use? I was thinking about how it would work with 2-300 people. If we got that many we would have say £250k and we could go to a broker and possibly take part in a placing. I considered this but it would involve a bank account treasurer maybe even legal stuff and would be time consuming complex etc. If we keep it informal and get 2-300 involved there is bound to be some who just want to disrupt and troll - you always get a few, and we would never know what people were really doing. Anyway hopefully we get a private board setup and then invite others to join. Has this been done before? - any templates we could use? Cheers Cast

I have done a bit of research on our new s/holders they don't initially seem connected but its odd they both reached and reported there holdings on the same dates? - maybe acting in some sort of nominee capacity for someone who wants to remain anonymous! Dunno but they now hold nearly as much between them (21.35%) as the current major holders: Gledhow Investments plc : 11.39% Otterswick UK Limited :9.22% C A Windham : 3.07%

The investor probably found out what the true situation was after they had agreed to take part in the placing - We all should have been made aware sooner! Agree CE there is not going to be much value here for existing s/holders - but anything is better than nothing.

I totally agree - Last RNS stated the only asset of the co. would be auctioned off if Dominion were not paid - well what's going on? I think the shareholders deserve an update even if its "were still in talks" The lack of information (especially re. the bad news that was held back) is dissapointing.

Lots of shares have been bought and there has been no movement or it goes down. On some days ask and bid are the same - I would love to know whats going on. I have a feeling that someone does! The two pounds seventy pence - sell trade thats a "100 code" - "need shares" to those that believe in MM codes. Lets hope it goes up tha same tomorrow. Cheers Cast

Another one today 2 small sells and the next trade (a buy) is at 2.9p (up 7%) - big trades went thrugh yesterday and the ask dropped?

Thanks for the info - I think this is possibly being delayed until oil is flowing i.e. no oil = no revenue to pay off debt and therefore no value for SLME - lets hope so. I've written this off and it was painfull but anything more tha zero is a bonus for me. GLA
