Union Jack Oil (UJO): UJO are an onshore oil & gas exploration and production company, with a focus on drilling, development and investment opportunities in the United Kingdom. They are on the cusp of becoming one of only a handful of major success stories currently listed on London's' Alternative Investment Market (AIM). Having recently achieved key milestones in their main assets across the UK. In 2019, UJO made headlines in national newspapers following the huge onshore oil & gas discovery at West Newton, now seen as the largest UK onshore oilfield discovery in decades. Oil Analysts SP Angel classifies the project as having “significant company maker potential” and that it is “one of the UK’s largest ever onshore discoveries”.
In January 2020, UJO won a significant victory after a 3-year court battle for their right to progress yet another oil discovery: Wressle. Their extended Flow Test of this discovery is now being quickly progressed.
