I don't know much about T/O process but as far as I'm aware
30% is needed to make a bid > Once a bid is made the company is required to inform shareholders > Shareholders then get to vote > Majority vote wins?
Of course with the recent placing we could assume dilution was part of preventing hostile T/O or that the required majority needed (sticky) by directors to ensure votes remain in their favour. Of course this is an assumption but as far as I know brokers do advice on these type of matters too.
