430 manual is the ticket. You can get a couple in the £80k range maybe cheaper with some negotiation. They will be £200k in 10 years.

The am debating between the E46 CSL (I would do a manual conversion) and M1. CSL is a bit more money and a little more special but SMG.

Paul, I don’t have much in the way of vintage bikes. I have heard a few others on here talk about them. The oldest I have is an 85 GPZ900r, doing a Top Gun recreation and then a not so old 2003 Harley 100 anniversary Vrod.

Very nice Hodj, the Cerbera is definitely on my buy list.

Paul I like the RS6 but I would buy the best old V10 version you can find. Epic car, still plenty quick with a V10.
Added bonus it will make you money over the next 5 years rather than loose £60-70k like the new one.

RBM, funny the NSX is probably one of my top 3. Amazing car, I had it at Silverstone in March along with the GT4 and 4C and the NSX showed them up in enjoyment and feel.
Mine the the sweet spot in my opinion, the 3.2l engine with the pop up headlights and manual. Only around 20 in the U.K.

MrMilton, I wish what you are saying is correct however they definitely have not paid it’s debt unless you are just referring to current matured debt and interest.
The RI money will allow them a bit more flexibility when restructuring the debt therefore reducing overall costs and keeping a healthy line of credit.
This will hold them until the Valkyrie and DBX Money comes in then it is over to the new guy in August to steer the company into a healthy profit by the last quarter and a full recovery program going into 2021.

E46 has a few issues. SMG pump goes bad, manual is more desirable. Small electrical issues. Vanos and throttle sensors can cause issues that are difficult to identify. They also have rear subframe issues in the coupe and this has to be dealt with.
Overall great cars and will hold and increase in value in years to come. That straight 6 is one of the best power trains ever made and the chassis is sublime.

RBM no I am not. We are taking that concept to a new level at my location. The cars will be inside the coffee shop and we will be roasting the coffee onsite.

Richard, I would not be surprised if the hybrid timescale gets extended.
On average even taking into account all the issues with electric they are around 50% less toxic. The expansion of the hybrids will bring that number closer together.
Infrastructure for charging and the extra power required is a big issue. I have recently researched this and have put the infrastructure in at my location. It is a very expensive exercise and can include having to put new transformers in the location which will cost 10’s of thousands and even up to 100 thousand.

Richard unfortunately Aston and everyone else will have to. Europe will ban combustion vehicles by 2035.
This of course could get changed however currently this is the plan.

Hybrids are still allowed in Europe until 2035 so that is plenty of time for Aston to transition to electric.
The new V6 twin turbo hybrid (that will feature in the new bond car the Valhalla) will set the backbone for the future of the Aston range.
