Don’t get me started on the once Uk sweetheart, Cadburys, when it was Uk run. Gone downhill fast now that the Americans bought the company and changed all of the recipes.

Morrisons used to be Uk, now American.

Basically, the Uk is pretty much run by foreigners.

“Uk supermarkets are in steep decline. American brands are in steep growth” Asda? Used to be Uk, but now American.

The fact is it’s a race to the bottom with some supermarkets. The more Tesco competes with the Germans by selling “value” products, then the worse that Tesco shopping experience becomes. Who would want all supermarkets to be like Lidl or Aldi? That would be a very boring world.

Off subject, quite recently I remember one person who posted here, they had sold up all of their Poly to buy in THG. I advised this was not wise to buy THG, like many retail stocks.

THG are down 18% today. Ouch!

I would like to say that Russian civilians are too smart, to believe anything in the Putin controlled media propaganda, but I cannot truthfully say it. Or they are too scared to protest.

Whatever excuses Putin can magic up about blaming others for Putin’s mad war on Ukraine, then so be it and whatever ends it.

After all, Putin’s clueless and self destructive war is also killing his own Russian people. How many more Russians need to die?

Tell me Arran, why Russia has invaded a sovereign country, Ukraine, murdering Ukraine’s innocent civilian women and children? Putin soon then gets cheered by a crowd of idiots on TV.

I am personally cutting back on my business, I have had enough of funding foreigners like we do here in the Uk. If I pay less tax then I fund foreigners less. Tired of how the Uk government deals with my taxes, giving it away to foreign dictators, like Putin and Xi. Screw these dictators.

How things are and how things should be. The UK meeds to be more self reliant and never deal with dictatorships.

We need Made in Uk again and return to normality.

Invest in the Uk only.

I don’t agree western money will soon flow into Russia the minute Putin is toppled by the Russian people.Maybe dribs and drabs from the high risk investors, after Russians agree to stop invading their neighbours (Ukraine) and stop being so aggressive.

I personally may invest in Poly in the very distant future, but unlikely, if they ever make it a low risk company and disassociate from their Putin/Ukraine invasion problem. I for one prefer to pay higher SP for the pleasure of this. Never will invest my money not into dictatorship controlled countries.

Why the UK ever thought it wise to ever deal with the devil and rely on Russia/foreign dictators is mind boggling to me. A complete disgrace by UK politicians.
