That's how I read it too. Frustrating for them.
The twitter silence has surely got to mean they are expecting more news re AGILE very quickly, right...?
It won't even let me log in. :-( Happily though I have Sareum share in several places, and could buy them elsewhere, but am def not selling a single one today - I just like looking at their higher value! LOL
V glad I topped up again yesterday!
Absolutely - must be a foregone conclusion re AGILE. I've emailed Boris and Sajiv anyway though, just for fun, and BBC Breakfast. LOL.
Sareum haven't tweeted anything yet, so maybe waiting for the afternoon RNS re AGILE! :-)
Presumably the government will be keen to get it on to the AGILE programme quickly now, and an announcement to follow very soon!
Probably they imagine the key concern is the covid side of things currently, and that is what will get the funding...? It is a shame that wasn't good news as well!
"Our R&D approach in #cancer driven by a cultural shift to ‘smart risk taking’ and improving patient outcomes has been included in Raconteur in @TheTimes"
I haven't read the article but smart risk taking, like working with Sareum?!! :-)
Potnak - me too! And I ended up buying some more today... again. Any day now....
Every time the price drops I end up buying some more - it's getting expensive! Have resisted so far today as would mean moving some money around, but it's so tempting when it's only likely to remain at this level for a few more days....
Department of health aides are probably busy changing the train ticket to Cambridge for the big reveal into Sajiv's name now. :-) Or maybe Boris plans to unveil this one, as long as there's a fridge nearby to pop into for any unexpected awkward questions about anything else.
From previous posts I don't think you need to worry too much Ohmni- unless deliberate scaremongering and de-ramping also require counselling. (just IMHO though)
I'm also more and more intrigued about the exact nature of the 'secret patent'.
Plus, was thinking this morning that a positive result and extraordinary world-changing news will require particularly careful analysis and reporting, not-to-mention co-ordination with the government regarding the PR, so perceived delays in the RNS are likely to actually be extremely good news if anything.
Please can we just not even reply to any of the off-topic argumentative posts, or those denigrating Sareum's work/potential, as in my opinion they are purely designed to disrupt the board for whatever reason, and take away from the key topic of brilliant scientific progress from Sareum, and potentially world changing news due any day now.
In addition to a potential 3rd wave and all the other obvious public health concerns relating to Covid, the government, and specifically the department of health, could do with some more good news right now! And something that they can take some credit for due to the grant.
Thought it was going to be a great birthday present when I saw an email from Tim in my inbox (although I don't think he will be emailing me the RNS anyway, but the excitement overcame any logic!) Sadly it was just a late reply to an email I sent on Monday asking when the presentation would be on their website. But there's still time, come on Tim :-)
I just saw this, and wondered if the better informed amongst us might have any opinions on use of TYK 2 where this is also a factor in Covid-19 patients? It says it causes allergic reacions and lung infections in some people... (Posting the tabloid version as they don't make you register to read it, but do show you a load of cr*p adverts that almost obscure the story instead!)

Or a new investment for GSK... :-)
Apparently it's biomedical science day today - what a great day for the government to announce funding for a wonderful new Covid therapeutic....
ahfam - also using the word 'encouraging' in relation to the research...
Hahaha! :-)
I've found myself singing 'De-ramp, de-ramp, de-ramp, de-ramp, de-ramp' etc to the Pink Panther theme tune today too!
Mostly like to be a couple of weeks, and this makes no difference to the potentially immense value of the news when it does drop.
