Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Well said Tovoc. The only item I would like to add is the limited amount of Shares the BOD have bought.
If Insihkea was that good a prospect, why dose it take over 12 months to secure a farm in. Reported half a dozen interested companies in the dater room. Multiple billions of possible income for a reported 1 in 3 chance of success. With only a years extension to the Licence, and that runs out at the end of this year, time will start to eat into this.
2010-2023 company performance / share price appalling. Board members performance based on share price, Appalling. Why did WH praise SO saying he had done an excellent job. The truth is if share holders here had mirrored the performance of the EOG Board Members in their on jobs they would have surely been sacked.
Any thoughts on why they would issue an RNS for a live presentation, is this the norm for live presentations.
Serif, if they don't drill, then there's no point in it being anything to celebrate as it don't offer any financial return. So again over 10 years with no farm into the Irish licences, unless we celebrate a near miss which is no good to long term share holders.
I voted Oddie out... why would you want a CEO who will not put his money in, for that matter how many share do the other directors hold, very few in value terms I sure. Serenity when will there be any oil?? 2023 - 2024 or beyond. The Wressle additional production from *****tone flags. Simon spoke of a production plan back in early August, saying new would be in the next few months, we are now 4 months on. So, *****tone flags when 2023, 2024, 2025?????? In the meantime, what goes on at EOG HQ to justify the high wage bill. These are dark days for EOG, the decline has been nonstop since Hugh took over.
All this good news and we could be going sub 1p any time soon. Mr Oddie please show some leadership and buy some shares. You Afterall are the one who lead the company into adding 500 million new shares on the North Sea well.
I have today voted against SO. I don't feel he has any concern for investors who have put their money and faith into EOG. Europa's share price over the last 10 years has been utterly appalling. SO share holding here is limited and to me shows no leadership, his salary and Hugh Mckay salary is very well paid for a failing company at 256k. Investors who took out shares during placing have been let down as is the share price 6p placing down to just over 1p today. I think SO should have gone after adding almost 500 million new shares for a failed Serenity drill. The share price has been so bad that even selfish has been killed off...
I think you are right, my figure of £1.00 per therm was based on the May 2022 price, £4.00 per therm today makes my calculation look silly... so as you said it's a lot of money. The share price dose look good value if all that extra oil and gas from Wressle can be added.
Correction / Inishkea = 1.5 TCF (1.5 Trillion Cubit Feet of gas) divided by 100 = 15 Billion Therms @ £1.00 per therm = £15,000,000,000
I am not in the oil and gas industry, nor do I work in finance, my understanding of gas in Inishkea = 1.5 TCF (1.5 Trillion Cubit Feet of gas) divided by 100 = 15 Billion Therms @ £1.00 per therm = £15,000,000 less costs.
Wressle as quoted by Simon Oddie 2 billion cubit feet = 20,000,000 therms @ £1.00 per them = £20,000,000 EOG 30% share = £6,000,000 value of gas, less costs.
Apologies if my sums above are incorrect, I would welcome any feed back on this. Enjoy your weekend.

A good watch... 1,000 barrels per day is possible providing the joint companies prove the well is managed well, which may then lead the the 500 par day restrictions being lifted.
Dunder, I didn't want to over cook things.
I have to say I'm not one who agrees with such a high value for a new CEO.
Some posters think if he's any good, once appointed he could add 1.2 to 2.2 pence per share,or £4.5 to £9 million. Mind boggling.......
A good indicator on that would be the amount of shares held, bought recently by Mr Brian O'Cathian and Mr Simon Oddie.
Tacuma good on ya, positive pills. Wressle is what is needed, but you'd need a 4-5 bagger to get us back the where HM started 11 years ago.
He holds, what 1.3%
On a big day like this you'd think Jus would post his thoughts over on ADVFN.
