Loving the honesty, thought it was just me who was **** at this.
DD77 Stem shares will be credited to the same account(s) your TILS shares are held in
- Anyone hold their shares through Jarvis (LSE) and know what happens in that situation please?
Crusty, given the way this stock falls on similar volume sells, surprised its not at 10p already with those bangers
Mr C, I think PI's have such an insignificant amount of shares between us, that we are simply irrelevant.
It is a massively frustrating share, and I don't have the time or skill to trade. Was simply hoping they would make a success of the deeps and I'd get a reasonable return on my particularly insignificant investment. Hey ho
Rjc1, I used to work with (not for) Max, they didnt even have a properly formed drilling plan, it really was seat of the pants stuff. I wasn't surprised when they ran out of money, but way before my time on here.
AlfP123 - think I already have been tbh, did put in what I could afford to lose though, so not completely naive :)
Its a ll a bit **** at the minute isn't it. Hopefully when they tell us how much its flowing at (and it has to be surely otherwise they would have to communicate that to the market) then we can only hope the greed of the bigger investors will mean the **** performance over the years is forgotten. I hope that's the case, sat in here for nearly 5 years and bored. Don't have the time to trade so this is an investment, but a pretty poor one atm.
So two trades for £5,300 moves the price down by 5%, this share is so frustrating
Its a great place, very westernised these days and the majority of kazakhs are very welcoming and very hospitable. See a lot of wealth (oil does that to countries) set against abject poverty, so in places like Aktau (on the Caspian) and Atyrau (closest city to tengiz) you#re as safe as you are in any major city . A lot less knife crime than over here!
Nice to see it end the day up, so used to seeing the price tick up during the day then fall a tad at close of play. definitely a positive in terms of sentiment.
Morning CC, never my intention to 'shut anyone down' just struggling with the connection between a TCO job fair and Casp, and thought a little insight may help in regards to Kulsary and the acronyms of TCO.
At the end of the day there is a huge amount of logic to TCO keeping an eye on Casp, its so convenient.
Anyway, we're all on the same side at the end of the day :o) Peace out dude
Adrianz, not sure if or how this relates to Casp. FGP (Future Growth Program) and WPMP (Wellhead Pressure Management program) were both TCO led oil recovery programs, so don't know how that ties in to Casp, if at all (not saying definitely doesn't, just saying)
Kulsary, is where the train from Atyrau stops when its moving TCO workers from Atyrau to Tengiz, from there they are transported by coach.
I was there years ago, so maybe its changed since then, but TCO holding a job fair in Kulsary I can't quite figure how it relates to Casp.
I understand the enthusiasm CC but its not even close to a 20th of Tengiz as it stands.
Tengiz in kms is roughly 19.3 x 20.9 x 1.6 deep so 645 cubic kms
This is roughly 57km squared x 0.1 km deep ( as it stands, waiting A8) thats 5.7 cubic kms
How is that 20%, its just over 1/113 of the size.
I'm not de ramping, just saying. Been in here a long time, not as long as many but long enough, and am very happy they have found what they have, but its no Tengiz.
Devonian, well that's a whole other story but complete speculation at this stage
This is a great find, but to give a little perspective. Tengiz covers an area 12 miles x 13 miles, and the column close to a mile deep. Tengiz is almost an anomaly in oil fields, its simply huge.
This is what, 57km sq, and 100 metres deep.
Great opportunity, big upside, but would fit inside tengiz multiple tens of times. :)
Still worth a pretty penny when they prove it up though.
Not my area of expertise I'm sad to say, far too many factors to be considered that we are not privy too.
I wouldn't be surprised if TCO come in in some way shape or form, its just too convenient, ticks the local content boxes and access to all the infrastructure. Time will tell.
I hear you Adrianz, just having a whinge. Could've sold just after I bought in as it went from 9p to 15p but always had a longer term game in mind. I worked in Tengiz for TCO for a while, and always kept an eye on Max P (basket case) and Roxi. Too many big finds in this area to ignore.
You can just sense its on the cusp of a big move upwards, so hanging on in there. :o)
Don't post often, but been sat on this share for 3 years or so, drives me mad when the MMs mess about and keep it suppressed. Been some fantastic news lately, and still the share bobs up and down.
Yes there is still a long way to go, yes they still have to prove up the reserves and prove they can extract the oil, but ffs let it run free.
