It won't make a difference, if you get more pounds, it's because those pound would be worth less. It's a zero sum. Brexit is a 100% irrelevant.
I know Aidan registered the company first in Ireland, but my point is BREXIT is IRRELEVANT!!! No one cares!!
Leave the stock market and run for a public office.
And good luck with your new endeavours!
Don't hit yourself on the way out!
I'm not bothered at all, I don't care about UK politics, it's not my business, my business is an oil company based on Ghana's oil TEN field and Jubilee and Gabon.
I don't think BREXIT can do an iota compared to what the last CEO did to us.
I don't think Brent can do an iota compared to what the last CEO did to us.
Brexit is irrelevant to Tullow's fundamentals.
Brexit doesn't have much impact for Tullow.
Tullow has it's production facilities in Ghana, Gabon , ... not in the UK.
I don't live in the UK, Brexit is totally irrelevant for me. I think it's going to be Armageddon, what's more I don't give a damn sht.
We went down 50p when we hit heavy oil in Guyana.
If we find sweet oil in Goliathberg-1 it's going to be a a lot of fun for us shareholders and a hell of a ride for shorters, we can be going up 200% or 500% in single day and in the following week if we find anything in Suriname, oh boy!
It's more of a problem of people not investing until general market conditions are brighter, future is secured, employments are guarateed, when everything is going up people want to get in adding more fuel to the fire, we just need the spark that sets the whole process in motion!
You are right! 50$ won't hold, we will be at 55$ by January!!
I know when someone is talking bs when he starts to justify oil prices with Brexit!
The UK is not the navel of the world!!
Cuz no buyers, Slift is trying extra hard to scare everyone off, so he can daytrade.
Tullow had said Rahul was going to do the rounds with their major holders to explain how they will turn the business around.
Looks like this has just started to bear fruit. I would expect more to follow in the coming months.
Well that is much appreciated the SP is ridiculous!
PPS69 if you are a net buyer, low SP is to your advantage, sadly I don't have the means to buy more shares right now, but if I had I would be as happy as an old man stealing candies from a baby.
They are a spanish based value investing oriented company who own several businesses focused on raw materials, like copper, uranium, gold, oil, drilling ships manufacturers. Like Buenaventura, Cameco, Tullow, ... guess they have increased after dilution was off the table. They don't like owning over 5% because regulations I don't expect them to buy more but they will hold for the long term.
I am deluded and you are enlightened.
Whatever I will ignore your posts.
PPS69. A stock doesn't know that you own it.
@Slift what about the non-operated?? 22kbopd (Gabon 15kbopd, Equatorial Guinea 5kbopd, Côte d’Ivoire 2kboepd)
Did you sum that one up?
I think you can go listen yourself, not in my interest to go find timestamp to prove my point. Al-Monthiry mentions Jubilee being at 80k bopd and TEN at mid 40k.
Production across both fields in Ghana has been strong in the first half of 2020 with the Jubilee field averaging 84,700 bopd gross (net: 30,000 bopd) and the TEN field averaging 50,900 bopd gross (net: 24,000 bopd).
80*0.3548+40*0.4718+22=69.256kbopd
At 84.7kbopd in Jubilee and 50.9 at TEN
84.7*0.3548+ 50.9*0.4718+22=76kbopd
Where does the 65kbopd come from?
PPS69 it just hit 50$
After a few months of PROLONGED 50$ oil prices it must have an impact on the SP, at 55$ of PROLONGED oil prices it must have another impact on the SP, at 60$ of PROLONGED oil prices it must have even more of an impact on the SP.
The share price will move up when it decides to move up not when you want it to move up, if oil price goes up the share price will eventually move up in an equivalent, corresponding and proportionate way.
Then December 9th has been more worrisome than Tullow not following the exact daily pattern of oil prices. Don't you agree?
