Lot to come here imo, some of which will take market by surprise.

Say, you don’t understand the market, stop raising funds at sun 15p you will kill this company.

The companies advisors won’t care either way as they will be commissioned based but shareholders have a vested interest in making sure the company is handled and valued properly.

Until this is made clear I think this will languish and possibly go further lower.

That’s the sad truth.

The bloke clearly doesn’t get how the market works in that he can aid share price destruction, an innocent raise, done to many times kills people’s investment appetite.

Until he agrees no more sun 15p placings I sense that’s all that will happen.

If he had announced a £0.4m contract over 3 years without all the singing and dancing then I wouldn’t have laughed.

But he hasn’t.

He pumps the sp up to 16p and then does a placing. That is the fact of the matter & how long do you think this will continue !?

Will he spy I’ll place when the companies at 2p and he pumps it up to 4p !?

What kind of exit price will you be looking at then ? 10p ? 16p ?

I’m not in any way shape or form knocking the tech, infact I think it’s solid, but if he keeps doing that these shares will still be worth about 2p wether you sit here and stick up for it or not.

No I agree. It is a VC company, value is seen on disposal, I am well aware of that.

But here Al pumps up the price and then dilutes people... don’t blindly excuse that behaviour.

This will get a £200m mcap I am sure of it.... but that doesn’t mean that won’t be worth 5p.

And at 2p if he keeps raising... you’ll be lucky to see 10p again with a £200m mcap.

Don’t ignore the facts of how the market works.

Antelope I’m laughing because they made a big deal out of announcing the contract in the morning.

I was actually impressed with the presentation yesterday, I think TERN in the next 10 years could have a very hefty sized mcap, wylds social distancing app and satellite technology are imo where it’s at.

But....

If Al pumps up the share price with a presentation which is overly positive and then dilutes into it while being proud to announce a £0.4m contract over 3 years (@ 50% for tern, probably nothing after admin, infact likely have to keep paying in) don’t expect me not to start laughing.

If he keeps acting like that this will be 2p before you know it.

It’s not bad news, ofc 40% of 400k is better than 100% of 0k but it’s not the kind of development the market wants, the market needs to be reassured that there is true value being created to back up a 20m mcap, 400k over 3 years isn’t really cutting it.

And on another note...

If some random head comes in and values these assets (with no material development) at 200% higher ... Very unlikely this would rise much more than 60/70%.

It's worth what it gets sold for and in between then the peaks and troughs of market and company sentiment, not what some random values it at.

If i am buying in to a company with a NAV at 8p or even 20p I am doing so because I see growth not what the NAV is ... companies up and down the market trade at fractions of their net asset value or multiples of their net asset value.

Investment companies on AIM and VC funds across markets often trade at fractions of their NAV until investment is liquidated as... Something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it irrelevant of whether it is written on the books at a higher value.

Aim valuations are driven by sentiment both in a stock and a sector dependant on developments and newsflow not Net Asset Value.

That is not to say that if ED brought someone into revalue the assets & they increased by 200% then this would rise but more the fact that you are investing for growth of the assets not what they were worth yesterday.

Seems way over sold imo . From here limited downside with the possibility of this being a takeover target at a reduced value to the book even at 3/4 times the current price.

Current assets at the end of the period increased to £194.6m

Net Debt was £284.3m as at the period end

£25m mcap.

Assume that someone wanted to buy this company out... at todays mcap covering all debt it would cost them £309.3m & they would have £430m in non current assets with nothing accounting for the goodwill of the brand or the leverage that £609m turnover can offer....

50-70p seems far more reasonable valuing the company at £50/70m
