The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Feeling a little sea sick from all the waves, but my sea legs are pretty strong. Hold on folks, this is going to be an incredibly interesting week as far as I can tell. OTC is just around the corner, Peter is sat stroking a white cat on his lap with his finger getting ever closer to that big red button. PRESS IT PETE!!!
Fair to say that I am biased towards ARB as I currently hold shares and will continue to hold shares until the value of the company is reflected in their SP.
I am interested to hear peoples understanding on the different between the SP of both RIOT & ARB. Every time I think of slicing my profit or getting out due to the slight decline in the price of BTC, I remind myself that RIOT are trading at $23 a share. Twenty-three dollars. We are sat moving around the 100-110p mark currently, surely I am missing something? Or does it simply come down to the fact that we are yet to be listed on the OTC?
In any case, holding firm and will top up if it goes back to 90p as I did this morning.
4k drop is fairly significant, but it really shouldn't drop us below £1. We are so undervalued. OTC is round the corner, RIOT is trading at $23. I am trying to get my head around why people are folding now. Day traders and people investing more than they are willing to lose.
I topped up at 95p a share. This is a long term hold for me. Look at the SP of RIOT guys, please don’t get a fuzzy head over the BTC price. $23 a share and we have a like-for-like fleet for crying out loud. Top up and be patient.
This price will drop when people start panic selling. Breathe, deep deep breaths, and relax. This price cannot drop if people just keep it together. I’m sat rolling my eyes at all this to be honest. If you’re desperate to get your money back out then you’ve invested far too much to begin with. *sigh*
@And_its_Gone; I see the RNS regarding Paul acquiring the shares via his options, but I cannot find the mention that they went into the backpocket of a large investor. Either way, this is going up, but that would be quite interesting if that were to be true.
I have been pondering this question for some time. I'm currently sat about 160% up on my initial investment and I have considered top slicing for some time. This morning, I bought more shares at 125p a share.
I hope that answers your questions!
Perhaps you're right, but in being right you've also crushed my hopes and dreams.
Jokes aside, lets see what happens. I've thrown a small amount into this hoping that something comes of it, but nothing that'll get me in trouble with the better half.
I'd expect that the money from court could easily be used to update/upgrade/enhance the fleet sat gathering dust in Serbia. It makes little/no sense to not jump back on the wagon. Perhaps I am a dreamer though!
I am by no means a professional at all, to be frank I wasn't trading in BTC until earlier this week with the rise of Argo.
Why on earth would CLP not want to get back into the mining? They have a fleet of computers in Serbia that they have 100% ownership of and could be put to some good use. Look left and right, every company involved with Bitcoin right now is rising by 30-40-50-60% per day! I have stuck some money into this, nothing that I'd cry about if I lost, but if the same response occurs to that of Argo or OBC? I'll be a very happy man. DYOR.
This is not tradable on T212, where can I get me a slice?
The baton was rightfully past from our hard work today and the Americans have p*ssed it up the wall.
Sad to see that we couldn't hop back in on that $1.22 price tag, I am salivating at the thought of it. Oh well, this is great entertainment in any case!
I am still waiting for my order to execute, watching from the sidelines waiting to get subbed on.
I understand that this is blowing up in the US right now, so will the $1.58 over in the US mean that we will 110% start up at £1.15? Or is that not necessarily how it'll work?
My understanding is that a lot of people will buy the cheap shares tomorrow from the UK and then intend on selling to the Americans who are paying so much more for it. Apologies for the drivel, invested here at 49p and thought I was late to the party...
