house price growth rate ticked down slightly and in elation was hotter than expected by the talking heads. No more than the monthly nonsense trying to call a "top" in house prices. Manna from heaven for the bot traders. Unless i have missed something and that everyone is now going to continue to live in a rental home, with parents or in a card board box, nothing has changed wrt builders. The last rate rise has only been passed on by some and another one is not imminent. We will probably have another carefully orchestrated "wobble" tomorrow. gla

have not seen it but if its based on "valuation" than its market driven c$ap" look air the trailing PE and yield and what has just been announced in the Budget. DB are trying to drum up a bit of business shoddy stuff as always and don't be fooled by this nonsense.

looks to me we had a bit of month end fun and games by the auto traders shaking nervous PI's out. heres hoping they have what they need so we can go back up. the Budget etc has placed a firm footing under the sector and from a valuation perspective there is no reason why we should not be much, much higher.

Fingers crossed something will come of it but the Nomad is probably in on it and the FCA would not where to begin when it comes to spotting market abuse as the abusers well know. Hope i am wrong though

the "big" recent arrivals on the register can be too happy with the MM worms playing this share. Or are they buying more and is that the reason for the continuing malaise.

have alok at Peter Truscott's statement this morning. Not hard to spot the difference in quality.

referring to headwinds in the trading update. Its naive to try and word a statement in a way that shows some form of "balance in a nuanced sense" which is not understood by trading algorithms. It has wiped billions of the sector- real people have lost real money. Its unacceptable coning from one of top paid CEO's.

to the CEO whose few well chosen words managed to wipe out �800m of shareholders money!

well it sounded pretty good to me but hey what do I know? There weren't that many questions to be fair and from what I could tell they were mostly from the US. maybe there is no longer any interest in this company or the sector in the UK. Punters seem to prefer dubious little mining stocks run by ex cricketers with dodgy claims instead. maybe we are run by an over-paid lazy set of directors as some seem to believe. But then on the other hand the drug seems to work ok.
