-Lycamoney, MTN and HomeSend launch new remittance corridor between UK & Ghana Paris, 20 September 2013 HomeSend continues to light up mobile money transfer corridors around the world with the most recent launch this week between the UK and Ghana. The corridor will enable Lycamoney Card users in the UK to send money instantly and cost effectively to their relatives and friends using MTN Mobile Money services anywhere in Ghana, with the HomeSend remittance hub as a key enabler for the remittance transactions. HomeSend is a strategic business partnership between BICS and eServGlobal, allowing the real-time transfer of any type of funds, such as airtime or money, and from various fund sources, such as eWallets, bank accounts, credit cards and cash. MTN Mobile Money customers in Ghana will now have the opportunity to receive international money transfer from family and friends instantly into their wallets thereby giving them immediate access to their money wherever they are in Ghana. Milind Kangle, Group Chief Executive for the Lycamobile Group commented “Money transfer is the next exciting step towards realising our strategy to service the communication, travel and financial services needs of ethnic and immigrant communities around the world. Our customers tell us that they need a simple and secure way to send money home and the HomeSend service is just what our customers are looking for.” Eli Hini, Commercial Senior Manager for Mobile Money, MTN Ghana says “MTN Ghana is excited to be leading innovations in the mobile wallets segment in Ghana with the launch of a service that makes Ghanaians living abroad feel even closer to their family and friends. The service, can be enjoyed by all registered MTN customers and is instant, totally secured and very convenient.”

I suppose it depends on how much is paid.I am hoping that esg reaches it's full potential so hope they don't sell out too soon. I think the mobile money market is going to be huge. For example just look athe the share price of Monitise - 7p-55p over the last few years. Their share price would have been a lot higher had the Management not kept issuing shares therefore diluting the share price. Hopefully esg management won't do the same.
I heard there may be a possibility that Vodaphone could buy Homeserve?
I heard that they my be a possibility that Vodafone will buy Homeserve.
ESG is my largest holding by far and ive been invested for some time,i'm afraid patience is needed with this one it will take time to build the company. Mobile money is evolving and nobody knows how it will turn out but ESG has got itself into a leading position and I think It will be a winner. I have met both paolo montessori and steve blundell and they are both very excited about the future both are committed to making ESG successful,I Was told that Homesend is the jewel in the crown and that it only needs to capture a small amount of the world remittance market to make it successful, good revenue should start to flow in the last quarter of this year. No advice intended.
Now the gravy has hit the buffers long term investors may well make some money.
