Stick to potatoes Paddyboy.
Oriole Resources provides leveraged exposure to district-scale gold discovery, underpinned by partner-funded exploration and multiple near-term catalysts. Despite a growing portfolio of defined resources and advanced exploration targets across Cameroon and Senegal, the Company continues to trade at a modest valuation (~£15–16m), reflecting the market’s traditional reluctance to re-rate explorers until discovery is proven repeatable, not just interesting.
Flagship growth: Mbe (Cameroon). At its Central Licence Package, Oriole has identified multi-kilometre gold anomalies consistent with a large, coherent mineralised system. At Mbe, the Company has already delivered a JORC Inferred MRE of 870koz @ 1.09g/t Au at MB01-S, confirming a shallow, bulk-mineable deposit. Crucially, adjacent MB01-N — undrilled until late 2025 — hosts a JORC Exploration Target of 370–605koz. A fully funded maiden drill programme is now underway, with early results confirming wide mineralisation and geological continuity with MB01-S. Strategic partner BCM International is completing a US$4m earn-in to 50%, reducing dilution while retaining meaningful exposure to upside.
This second centre is the inflection point at which markets stop asking “is it real?” and start asking “how big is it?”
Defined ounces with expansion built in: Bibemi (Cameroon). Bibemi already hosts a JORC Indicated & Inferred Resource of 460koz @ 2.06g/t Au (100% basis), with Oriole holding 50%. The published PEA intentionally covered only part of the resource, prioritising a low-risk starter plan while preserving clear scope for mine-life extension and production growth following exploitation licence approval. In other words, Bibemi is designed to grow, not capped by its initial mine plan.
Advanced JV upside: Senala (Senegal). At Senala, Managem Group (via AGEM) has earned ~59% by investing US$5.8m, validating the geological model. The project hosts a JORC Inferred Resource of 155koz @ 1.26g/t Au and a broader Exploration Target of 380–650koz, with standout high-grade and bulk intercepts reported. Discussions on formal JV structuring are underway, adding another layer of optionality.
Process catalyst – 15 January 2026. The 15 January investor presentation marks the first opportunity for management to reset the narrative following warrant expiry and initial MB01-N success. While no new data is expected, the session is important in clarifying drilling cadence, resource conversion pathways, and district-scale ambition, reducing uncertainty ahead of further results.
Catalyst & valuation. With the expiry of legacy warrants removing a long-standing technical brake, the share price is increasingly free to respond to fundamentals. With more than 1Moz already defined (gross), multiple conversion pathways, and partner-backed momentum, Oriole appears positioned in the transition zone between discovery and re-rating — a phase that often looks quiet
