I abstain months on end here..only come on when the sp rises significantly...and the muppet season arrives.

usually the chatroom gets full of neg vibes, tanking this, tanking that, 2p by friday, placing monday...but you know that only too well.

I embrace every day, esp those that bring me closer to getting on my mountain bike again....oh, and the days when pillocks stop spouting utter unresearched nonsense on chatboards.

If , for eg, you are gonna spout placing monday...at least back it up with why, then the board can chat about it, that is balanced.

If I was a newbie thinking of investing here and grazed over this chatboard the last few days, I would not see much in the way of positives. Just posts offering people how to live...bit like the hated Jehovas Witness folk banging on your door..

and purely for your info, I was a regular member of my local mountain rescue team..I had, and suppose still have, a valid mountain bike instructors licence, a 20+ mile jaunt over Kinder scout at the back of my house would be a cinch. Now awaiting my arthritic ankle to be fused.
