I'm still quietly optimistic here. Definitely not a certainty, but there are reasons to believe this has legs. Decent partners on board sending us batteries, Glencore taking black mass, board seems to have Government contacts, funding from grants. There have been a few good RNS this year. If anything the biggest kick has been not holding the CRML shares longer into that spike because that could have been game changing for the balance sheet. Still some funds banked and market cap not reflective of this.

We will see. Let's face it, there will be no shortage of sources wanting to get shot of old batteries from now until forever. Maybe TM1 just needs a bit of marketing.

Gap at around 320 now filled on the chart. Was my target for throwing back in some cash I took out on recent climb.

Thinking gold may go somewhere between 3700 to 3800, so maybe we are not bottomed out but there is fundamentally no reason for such a sharp drop on the company update alone, which was largely very positive.

No panic here at all, great level to put more in.

As my all time biggest loser, this company taught me a fair bit about investing. So at least there's that.

I am wondering what the catalyst might be. A few things come to mind. The recent India trip, can't imagine that was totally fruitless. I think we are expecting half decent results on profitability with Recyclus?

Black mass is obviously super sensitive to Trump's spat with China.

CRML pump was pretty large, did we sell the remaining shares on a high? (It's dropped a lot since)

I'm still wondering if there's anything in a few of the blog posts of late, such as the Lime bike piece - that would seem a good target for us. We know that TM1 otherwise has reasonably good links into e-bike battery recycling, Halfords for starters, but I remember reading some bike industry trade press that mentioned us too a while back.

On balance, I can see more reasons to believe the bottom is in than otherwise. That said, the markets as a whole could pivot on a tweet so who knows. The tweet might be helpful, it was last time.

Algorithmic trades I think, but I still don't fully understand what the meaning is, or if there is any.

Separately, I still look at the chart and suspect we are close to some volatility.

Gold dipping right before a lot of results is interesting. There won't be many putting out anything other than stunningly healthy balance sheets, so the dip feels like a huge opportunity. Probably one that will be traded into heavily, but nonetheless an opportunity.

Chart now looking better, back above the key moving averages, volume risen these past few days, news likely on the way. Might be a good moment to add a bit with lower risk. I did Monday.

It can't hurt to have been the industry representative for this sector on a trade mission at the exact time when it all kicked off over supply of rare earths. Even if there is no RNS yet, rubbing shoulders and making connections with others on the trip won't have done any harm.
