The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
You sound sour, but I guess you are not. Only chrome price is supporting this oink. Let's see what a nasty recession can do to commodity prices. My question is: Will management dilute shareholders again with much lower share prices? I understand why we management is so muted, but it is not really reassuring for
MM is doing all they can to put some lipstick on this pig. Close at 7. All trades below 7, entire day, but daily close looks pretty. NOT.
Number of shares in circulation does not matter. I guess shares price does not matter. Hahaha. PGM is dead, even with increased production, ICE is last century. Only copper can save this company. Unfortunately they can not handle copper. Bleak outlook, reflected by share price.
He, our "process" is unique. Nobody else can do it :)))))
Jubilee is struggling, but it peers are not in better shape. SBSW is a falling knife. Tharisa maybe it is forming a bottom. The big question is who is going to survive? I guess the company with the biggest cash reserves...
How much did they amass?
Unfortunately I do not understand the relation between copper price and Jubilee. Soaring copper prices lead to higher copper output from Sable? Every 500 us$ rise leads to 5k t in copper output from JPL? Maybe discussion should be more about the challenges to produce copper and reliably scale it? Anyways good job.
@gotreal I wrote not long ago 3k is not written in stone. You told us it is. I doubted we are going to hit 10k in 2024. Now JPL is forecasting < 6k. I bet you will switch sooner or later to bearish, my wild guess is in 4p range. Although it does not matter, but still it is fun how even in 2023 some people try to succeed with boiler room tactics.
I topped up my revolut card as well. Unfortunately I had to sell my JLP shares, could not stand another huge miss.
Copper forecast: 25k > 10k > 6k > 3k. Even gotreal, perma bull disappeared.
Great update, everybody is happy. Even MM can't find shares anymore. Copper forecast looks solid, thanks to this board we did not speculate with 10k or even 25k. Probably by year end we touch 25 or even 30. I am glad I silenced bushy. He is so annoying.
Rhetorical question?
May I ask how much revenue does JLP make from rhodium ? Plus I assume you got non public information about copper ramp up, because as a scientist you should know wishful thinking is not verifiable.
FY will end soon, 3k is expected and I hope you are right. What is probably more important how much they are gonna make in FY 2024. Are they aiming for 10k t or even higher?
@gotreal I am a fan of dialectic. I think discourse, different points of view about a subject help everybody to establish a better understanding, but in your case I have troubles to find any value or "antithesis" to gain a better understanding. of anything
You are telling us copper is on track, 10000t on track or maybe only 1300t? You should do yourself a favor and stop posting. Thank you.
Ad selling pressure: I hope we can defend 8 today. Does not look like.
I am not overly pessimistic, because I wrote delay. Maybe Zambia is not happening at all. I am not saying it is not happening, but Leon already announced it in 2021, read WH report and it did not happen. Some folks write JLP is the only company that is legit in recovering metal from waste but there are competitors.
Bushy writes about lack of cash, hard to know, because of reporting standards, that do not exist.
Why is management still paying themselves with cheap warrants?
New or not, does it matter? I am not talking about today, today is obvious. We are down 6%. I am talking about the days where MM kept it above and around 9. I am not bullish and that's it. I think there is still room to go further south, especially with macro not looking good and continued delays in Zambia.
Plus JLP is doing a very poor job in reporting their success. Maybe it is on purpose to disguise their "real" success or it is just incompetence.
MM is doing a great job to disguise selling pressure, but it is evident people are not convinced this turd will fly anytime soon. Most action is at the bid. To be fair entire sector got hit hard. JLP is no exception and Zambia is probably not helping either.
I bet confirmation is just around the corner, let's see what it is this time. (My bet: inflation, loadshedding et. al)
City is always a good source. They made me rich.
Well they produced 1700 t something in 3 quarters and 1300 t in one quarter might be a challenge.
Management predicted 10k t for this 2023, so why I would worry about their guidance?
