Disagree - it’s just confirming what everyone knew already. The UK etp offering has been lackluster at best due to the incompetence and lack of direction from the FCA. For the time being at least these still treasury plays retain some purpose, though not at a significant premium.

I for one am feeling somewhat vindicated.

Such a shame that some of the rampers that were gaslighting and ramping a few months ago are not so engaged now.

ETF’s give you exposure, safe custody and transparency. The landscape has evolved and these small-cap treasury plays now carry more risk than opportunity.

I’m not sure what incentive they have to seek a full LSE listing tbh. Presently they enjoy the relatively basic qualifying and regulatory requirements on the lowest tier of the Aquis exchange. A step up to LSE, especially the 250, would bring with it a lot more transparency which I’m not sure this company would benefit from.

SWC won’t see a penny from these £1.50 warrants. If (and I mean IF) the SP recovers to a point where these are in the money there’s more chance of them being exercised on a cashless basis.

What’s the invective for interest switching back to treasuries though? Exposure to bitcoin is getting broader by the day, why risk exposure through a borderline solvent small cap sideline business venture run by god knows who and the crypto is held god knows where?

The price should reflect the risk and should therefore be a discount to fully diluted NaV.

Rumour has it they’ll be sat behind some eligibility criteria so won’t be a plain vanilla etf. Not sure if this would restrict ISA access, hopefully not.

Pretty scathing article in the Telegraph yesterday on Treasury plays. The UK bitcoin ETP’s will be a compelling alternative. As a holder of MSTR personally I can’t wait to convert profits into something more transparent and reduce my exposure.

All the creative accounting and dilution is stress I don’t need. SWC is like the crack-addict younger brother of MSTR so any investors that have been burned have my sympathy.

The flywheel hasn’t spun for a while. I wonder how the barrow-boys at the corporate broker are getting on and pan-handling this rare opportunity to buy the dip to more ‘strategic investors’.

Where have the bitcoin been stored up to now? A thumb drive in a desk drawer? Also, what is the corporate governance around access / seed phrase. When crypto ETP’s come out at the end of this month surely The FCA will look at gaps elsewhere in the space.

That said updating the description from ‘web company’ to ‘unregulated investment vehicle’ would be a nice touch. I can’t believe the FCA has taken a firmer stance on this tbh.

Rylidan gaslit, then filtered, pretty much everyone with a different opinion. I hope wherever he is he’s ok and his historical portfolio screenshots are not causing him too much discomfort.

As for Treasury plays moving forwards the BTC Fear & Greed index slipping back to level pegging is a concern. Im in MSTR and was hoping that a fed rate decision coupled with a S&P 500 promotion would give it enough of a boost for me to trim my profits to a nice round number but the whale sales have really knocked the momentum out of BTC it.

Anyway, this week should be interesting. GLA.

What are the chances the new auditor has found a Whoopsie and someone needs to declare a change of beneficial ownership.

The cynical side of me thinks a post 4:30 TR1 is on the cards.

A few more bitcoin added to inventory and once again the cupboards are bare. Crude NAV without the warrants is 75p, with MSTR at 1.3x this is a £1 by parallel metrics but given the higher acquisition cost and impending competition from more mainstream ETP products i can honestly see this trading at a discount to NAV.

Awaiting the next fundraiser / subscription / begging bowl with interest.
