All Leon has managed here is to over extend operations and costs, at the expense of actual production.

JLP should have just concentrated on PGM's and growing the pgm production profile to 80k plus. This all started going wrong when they bought Kabwe from BMR the day before the licence was pulled, been a money pit ever since.

Basscadet you're confusing grade with production, they're not the same thing

Grade is a sum of production over processed material. Leon needs to confirm proper numbers or they'll never be a return of trust here with proof.

Copper production was a mere circa 10% of what they should have been producing. How much of that miss could have been down to the death and lack or water.

If operations are performing so badly that they're essentially only working for 6 weeks of year then would you not have expected an update to explain mitigating factors?

If production misses aNd the company won't confirm through put tonnage and recovery ratios then you can only assume it's because they don't want you to know. That is a HUGE HUGE red flag.

Silver and gold are both trading in contango, so until that changes, it should be the only place for a commodity investor.

I wouldn't buy JLP until Leon proves the copper and cobalt, cash position is terrible and if he doesn't pull it off this year, they'll be a placing at best or serious questions about it
being a going concern. If one must touch a pgm producer atm then I'd be looking at THS and SLP.

it took nigh on 5 years to fall from 19p to 3p and that itself was not even in this decade. If you held from then and topped up at 3p and then held all the way again to 22p and back down to todays levels you are no way putting up any kind of performance to be proud about or at least support further additions here. The market is huge if its selling off then sell and go buy something that isn't.

I'm in agreement Shaun, you should defo be adding the difference of the spot and futures price to your coin premiums.

The longer the commodity trades in contango the steeper the upward curve will be, it's useful measure to follow.

Most of us plebs are only concerned about spot price but when the spot is cheaper than the futures price it means the market is in contango and is a HUGE, HUGE bullish signal.

Achieved gold price has normally been within a 1-3% tolerance of the rolling 90 day moving average of spot.

Spot is usually a premium or discount of the futures price, if you was a metal trader you'd calculate the net difference minus the duration between the contracts for arbitrage opportunities.
