I think you hit then nail on the head with the 'punt' term, when I added prior to the last divi (163p) it was less of a punt, we then saw a good build then Ex divi which coincided with the KRG release (to play into your luck comment). We haven't had one single positive day this month and on the 1tth Aug this was at 140p, we've had a payment since and we're sat at 123p and trading Volume under 100k by lunch time - we're certainly due an up day, if the MM will allow it.
I'm still in but handing by a thread.
From H1 - reminder
High-impact appraisal results to come in 2021
-Results from the QD-2 and Sarta-5 wells are expected around the end of Q3 2021
- The Sarta-1D well is set to spud in coming days
- Sarta-6 well is scheduled to get underway immediately following the completion of drilling at Sarta-5
Boyo - what's it going to take for you to buy back in here? You're still contributing to the board and evidently this isn't to humour us?
With payment in are you looking for drilling updates or a sign buyers are seeing value or solidity in o.p? Just curious.
yeah - my SOH disappeared quite quickly today, I don't mind this being range bound for a bit but I have a feeling the MM are just going to keep going until some news is released and that could be weeks. On a positive(ish) note, I remember saying previously if we start getting big swings on pay days I'm out. I don't think we're quite there yet but 123p is way over done, not fair value even in this pickle, it's like we're not getting paid territory.
and lets be honest, who has confidence in their ability to release a positive RNS, track record is not great is it.
I always had 122p as my limit following that close previously post Bina/Mir - anything south of that and I think I'm having to reduce substantially or even exit completely. I'll have to take the hit to protect further capital. Oh and UT 123.2p so it's almost inevitable unless that amazing RNS lands in the morning
it was somewhat sarcastic Boyo (apologies), I just don't see how this is so one way, we know sellers dictate the price but I would at least expect a few positive days - I am closer than ever to throwing in the towel here, which normally means the MM have done their job - I see 122p as the end for me.
Anyone still around with anything positive to say?
It is looking tricky to navigate and I am rapidly losing faith, especially when we start falling when o.p rises (like yesterday).
oh - UT 126.4p, 2nd lowest close of the year.
You mean Directors acquiring Genel stock in May have lost?
Last Director deals were March 2020 @ around 100p.
I would agree on the squeeze, if only our price went up when o.p did which didn't happen yesterday - I'm quite happy rolling around with the market but when we start going the other way it does concern me, that and our inability to release positive news, GKP showing yesterday how thats done btw.
