It's an undervalued stock so people want in and the wider markets and oil price dropped as the yanks came online.

58p will seem cheap eventually.

Disgrace really shouldn't expect anything less though and will recover towards the end of the day oil still @ $114.

They can manipulate it all they want it won't stop the dollars rolling in with the current oil price.

My target was always £1 - will review when we hit it.

Mine was actually in the account its been so late recently i hadn't bothered to check.

Mine have taken as long as 2 weeks to land so hopefully the share price wont rise till they let me take advantage of the drop.

Oil price is irrelevant really when a) You dont get paid and b) War has broken out and trashed the wider markets.

Genls fall is from the reserves update which isn't a great read and probably dragging us down with it.

And if the company had sold in between you playing the stock between the dividend dates as well as having the ability to sell at the top and buy at the bottom.....

After 14 years of waiting that is not a risk I will take and happily re-invest the dividends to increase my holding without ever risking being out when we get sold.

We didn't go up with the rise however itvwas guaranteed to fall with any slight pull back in oil price.

I couldn't care less where the share price goes short-term I'm here for a sale and will keep reinvesting the dividends when they arrive.

Yes I could probably snaffle a few extra shares playing the swings however after holding for 14 years I'd probably end up losing shares or better still get locked out with a sale whilst trying it.

I remain patient and after many more multiples than 2 quid or 2p of old money.

Share price will usually fall back to the placing price / a touch below it better to sell now then re-buy rather than watch it continue to slide.

Real shame what has happened here.

The confusion is always the same with Ex divi - I'm sure you always get a lag from buying the shares and appearing as owning on them as the register.

Either way todays drop is to factor in the 17p payment so it must be today the market is never wrong.

5p lost today so games still afoot here.

10p down in 2 days and company's in the best shape its been in for the last few years.

You must have missed the extra wells coming online that are not in the projected figures which won't be covered by the hedges,

Make no doubt about it we will be making serious money and the hedges kept the company afloat and was a requirement on the restructure which gives a stable platform which is what was needed at that time.

It's took almost 6 weeks to go from the high we had to back to where we started again at .6p almost a 100% drop again.

It's very frustrating seeing it continue to drop day day whilst waiting for contract news.

When it does happen I'm very confident we won't ever see these prices again.

They couldn't take it down quick enough just before our results are due....how many chances are these shorters going to get to escape ??
