I see Brent going over 55 with the Middle East developments and opec meeting so this should bolster the sp in the near term.

2.7 billion of further investment to be self funded. The shorts will be all over this until clarity is given on what exactly self funded consists of.

What a great few weeks for those of that were long from the teens. I exited at 31p on having traded around 5 times in the last week alone.

I am still going to dabble but the self funding wording in the rns, is tempering my bullishness together with the lower production forecasts. This coupled with the need another 500 million dollar sale to reduce their net debt to sensible levels.

Don’t get me wrong the trading ops will be immense on the swings but I would exercise caution if this is a large part of portfolio as I’ve been the other side and it’s not fun.

A Rights issue could be on the agenda this for me is my red flag to reduce my pot that I trade with here.

Everyone has a differing opinion but it is never a bad thing to think what if rather than the rose tinted spectacle approach I used to adopt.

Excellent assessment slift I saw today’s announcement as fairly positive apart from the recent drop in production remains a little puzzling and No information on refinancing - to be revealed. This to me is the burning question.

The latter will ultimately mean it will be thrown around with some sizeable swings before this news is known.
