Hi Krakenoil, this will be back up in no time as it’s being shorted at present. However, they will have to close prior to next update announcing a dividend or buybacks.

It could also be a large ii looking to build a stake like it happened a month ago and the price dropped.

Just read the last rns as it was a thing if beauty, we are turning this ship around big time no matter what the clowns in parliament throw at the NS oil producers and more importantly the companies that are going to lead the transition to sustainability. I’m not sure the government or labour realise the latter at all. #shortermism

3dart shareholder returns are coming and an extra year of the EPL will not make a jot of difference.

Tax losses and investments in the North Sea can be offset and AB will be able to massage the figures accordingly.

Jan what an excellent post, shorting this at present is crazy with the transformational strategy that AB has implemented with the debt reduction etc.

It’s being traded again, hence the swings.

I would envisage that we move way over 16p in anticipation of the results in 3 weeks time.

Rifleman I’m not sure you are have read any of the reports over the last two years? Our debt reduction has been and continues to be absolutely incredible particularly in recent times with the ridiculous windfall taxes that we as a minnow are subject too.

Shareholder returns/buybacks have always been the aim and we are now at that stage.

Good luck with your short but this is at least 100% undervalued at present.

I sold at 148.5 as I could resist. In meetings Thursday and Friday so I’ll just stick to accumulating Enq shares as the short/medium term potential is massive.
