I have no idea why people are selling so close to our first drilling update in 3 months, LSE presentation and possible license news too.
I guess people are freeing up some money to gamble on a bounce in Russian stocks? very short sighted imo
This has to be one of the lowest risk stocks on AIM now. Agnico are itching to lock into the next phase of the JV and the CEO has said that there will be no placings this year. There is literally zero downside to holding here as far as I'm concerned and I couldn't be more comfortable.
Some people are never happy. Just $1m needs to be spent across 3 years to lock in to this JV in a potential tier 1 area with Agnico & Newmont as neighbours.
This is an incredible deal with huge potential. If you aren't happy with this sort of deal I have no idea why you are even invested here. Brad isn't p*ssing money up the wall here, he is being very shrewd and careful with these JV's and I am very happy with todays announcement.
Minimal upfront costs, Potential Tier 1 assets, with the bulk of the payment being made by way of a 2% share of smelter. Perfect.
Anza update next!
Again the top risers board is dominated by miners. Sentiment has well and truly turned back in favour of miners IMO and it's only a matter of time until we get our time in the sun.
Perfect storm brewing with a huge back log of results due, gold price looking up, and hopefully the additional licenses granted in the very short term.
Sentiment is definitely retuning to the sector. Miners have been all over the top risers board for a week or two now.
I will be having a chunky (for me) top up here this afternoon in anticipation of news next week. Expecting a bumper pack of results given how long it has been since the last update, and am hopeful for renegotiated terms with Agnico being released as mentioned below.
New licenses can't be far off too!
I wonder how many late buys will be printed tonight. Sellers are being played!
Icarus - OMI almost certainly won't be there by the time that production comes around, Brad has even said that himself. We will be bought out at some stage (relatively soon imo) which is why it is hard to directly compare the market cap here to the companies mentioned below.
I am amazed that people are willing to sell at this price. Can people not hold an investment for more that 5 minutes?
Tin project aside, Agnico are throwing cash at Anza and samples are being sent back to the lab for a 2nd check as the grades are so good. Connect the dots people. Absolute monster in the making and we have a completely free carry.
The people that say 'I sold GGP at 2p' will soon be saying 'I sold OMI at 13p'.
Big money doesn't like uncertainty. What Brad is saying is great, but still ultimately uncertain.
Once the new licenses are secured, JV's signed and drilling results published, that big money will soon come flooding into OMI I have no doubts. We won't get to £100m's market cap on PI's alone.
Personally I think the additional licenses will be the one that drives the SP to new highs. Remember, APTA was the least fancied of all areas yet still produced stunning results.
