The one billion pound debt which I was not aware of. This debt has it been around for years, or increased and if so when. What is ITV doing to repay that? I think ITV missed the boat three years ago with ETO
NigeCo and all: Other than STV and Ulster TV andy other similar companies out there in the UK?
I forgot to post that ITV did try to buy ITV three years ago at about half the price. If ITV paid six pounds for ETO would that be considered a good or bad deal?
Could ITV bid for ETO? I found a couple of press comments today and one was from The Times and the other is in the Telegraph. The Times article takes about ITV being a bid possibility and the Telegraph takes about a couple of people hired for the Britbox have left. As I'm not a paid-up member for The Times and Telegraph, would someone please post the full articles or shed more light. What are your thoughts on ITV buying ETO?
About ETO and the counter bid speculation also mentioned in today's press. Why would another company counter bid when they could not be bothered when ITV offered about 225p a couple of years ago? Think about it.
Dunnsamonster, thanks. I have a lot of respect for Tempus as I used to read him a lot. A bid is always a possibility, but I guess that could b said for any company. :(
JMO? About STV, I watch the shares, more of a quick glance really and not familiar at all. Does anyone hold a stake in them, please? Back on topic and ITV. This speculation yesterday, any more views on this?
