Not sure whether we will see a flurry of after hours traded data as nothing of the numbers shown on the rns today have been traded and recorded openly. Not been online today so only recently looked at the mobile site which is quite unwieldy.
Looks like it may be an interesting day tomorrow.
Stay safe all.
Harry - unless i can see the whites of their eyes I would feel no threat to myself or my family. I had graffiti naming my family and home as being a target in the past in public places and not online. It is of course a little concerning and I took appropriate precautions I had no real fear for my family or I.
In relation to the comments made by IK my understanding of them were aimed at some of your comments and relate to discovering an IP address rather than hour home address.
An IP address of course MAY be used in forensic investigations to identify a particular source of electronic evidence as metadata on a digital photograph can be.
Let us all become paranoid about this anonymous board of posters.
For info it would not be the role of a poster to carry out a full investigation however, any evidence that may be uncovered could be passed on to an investigating authority.
I think we need to rewind a few weeks, forget about some if the inflammatory comments and claims of doing anything to make money at any cost.
Too much testosterone on show - no plausible threats seen so can we all get back on an even keel.
If someone has a good or bad thing to say and it is merely opinion then etiquette would suggest pre-fixing the comment with IMO/IMHO
Class is dismissed - see you all in the room tomorrow - The Playground is OUT OF BOUNDS ;@)
We are in a state of unknowns at the moment with some savvy investors making a killing due to the uncertainty created by the covid-19 issues. I think it would be wise for people to stop 2nd guessing as it could dilute previously sound information. Without doubt we all have a viewpoint as to where we 'should be' but the current volatility makes everything merely assumption and hope. Best thing is to turn everything off and wait for life to reboot whenever that may be. Just my opinion of course. I wish I had sold up last week and be in a position to buy today of course but hindsight is a marvelous thing lol. Stay safe all - keep washing your hands, don't think everyone who sneezes or blows their nose has cv19. If you can't find gel use a bottle of cheap vodka to keep your hands clean lol.
Noticed another1 million popped on the list timed a little earlier 16:56 @4.52
Usual sort of stuff but wonder when it was actually dealt.
Anybody attending these conferences/presentations can ask the BoD who are in attendance. They will still not get anything that is market sensitive, unless of course you spike their drinks ;#)
bliss I doubt he will be able to comment on specifically as there will be some form of nda affixed to talks.
sob I agree. They will not tell him anything price sensitive though as other commentators have said - he will tell us what we already know but with his own spin.
He will speak with them at the presentation evening rather than an exclusive imo of course.
I admire everyone's enthusiasm towards a farm in RNS, however, as was discussed a lot of folk saw an over subscription of the MF only for it not to be. Let's all wait and see, discuss the reality of what is going on and snippets out there which are factual.
Trees!! I love trees, though do not hug them or live in them. I heard a report about sections of the rain forest yesterday about some 25% of the trees are now producing too much cO2 (https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.zmescience.com/science/the-amazon-is-on-its-way-to-becoming-a-full-carbon-source-researchers-claim/amp/)
We must have some boffins which can sort it all out.
JConchy - the article was one that was published back in 2010. You news to be a paid FT member to read it anyway. It was a prediction based upon rises I 2010.
Perhaps I should have used a tongue in cheek emoticon but did not know how to make one lol.
Robbla - it is by whom which is the sticking point in the argument.
With some further news we will discover whether it will be within our timeline though we can never be 100% sure. We all hope and pray it will be BPC at the helm and every indication presently suggests it will be.
Chickens and eggs you should never count.
In a different note I wonder whether any further interested parties will be shoving £60k + in this afternoon.
Stay safe all - glass is still half full here even if it is a seriously big risk.
PI - I never invest on tips from the BBs. It was an addition to the £1000 fantasy portfolio I created to show how bad some of the tips often offered by caring sports on these bbs. Sadly I did not record the posters along with the "tips". I did though on this occasion mention the posters name on my post so at least a record is made. I occasionally post the portfolio for reference and perhaps may serve a warning on such hipsters.
Just for clarification my comment about trading relates merely to the amount of shares traded in a day needing to be being bought and sold before excitement is raised - rather than me trading and making money. Wish I was clever enough to do that though ??????
IK - I am trying my best not to get too excited but we still have a few hurdles to encounter along the pathway. I am hopeful of an RNS hitting the red button in the not too distant future and before the 1st 2 weeks of December have passed though that in itself is a finger in the wind prospect.
All planets seem to be setting into alignment so hopefully, just hopefully all will be revealed soon.
FWIW my money has gone from the account and both my OO and additional shares are shown in a non tradable table. All seems well.
No need for apologies brother. The rugby result was devastating however the boys did the country proud nevertheless.
I too am unsure as to why so much speculation on Shore Capital and when/if they buy or sell. Surely if the confidence of getting a rig and a drill bit at depth then surely they would not just take a fraction of a pence per share just to be in and out with no loss. Any shares they buy will be a bonus to them surely. If speculative SP are as good as have been suggested they would wish to hold on for a little while and make a decent profit. Otherwise to me it would not make much sense. BWTFDIK springs to mind.
Oh don't be like that IK - I said I did not believe all of the claims. I do have trust in a lot, however we are just a bunch of faceless usernames until we get to Langams. Not long to wait to see if we hit the mark for the OO. Perhaps I just err in the side of caution these days ;@)
