And regarding the next RNS for PYM? Anyone's guess to be honest with you. But if it's really sound positive news this share will take a big hike northwards, so it's worth holding....

Hi Bryn, not a stupid question, was one of the first I asked when I got on the slippery slope of share dealing! RNS stands for "Regulatory News Service". It's a news service run by the London Stock Exchange which carries all announcements made to the market by London listed companies. Any news that could affect a company's share price (either up or down), has to be published via RNS by law. This is to prevent "insider trading"... A good website to look at for this news source is http://www.investegate.co.uk/index.aspx?date=20100108 Good luck with your trading!!

Great to hear you got the shares and that Selftrade had to pay for their mistake! I think this share will go side-ways for a while, until the next RNS.... And then onwards & upwards!! Off topic, you should seriously have a look at PPA, I've got 6 million of those (and feel very confident too) and they are just about to go into full production after being pulled back from the brink of going bankrupt. They are well under-valued at the moment. Also get yourself onto Ducatiman's e-mail list - lots of share info (and he's not a ramper!) - he's got well over 400 people on it at the moment and climbing....!

Yes, "blimycharlie" is right, the Action Date is 16/12/2009. This is when the money will be taken out of your account. I'm with Selftrade.co.uk and they gave me until 5.00pm tonight (Monday) to accept the offer....

That's your Phytopharm "OPEN OFFER" shares entitlement. You have probably been credited with 8 new for every 3 ordinary shares held. It's up to you to decide if you wish to take up the offer, but you need to inform your broker before 5.00pm tonight and have enough funds in your account for the purchase. Hope this helps.... Wonder if it was the MMs manipulating the share price to encourage investors to take up their full share entitlement??? Last day Monday.... Perhaps they will slam the price down when the shares are issued and loads will panic sell at a lose....

Totally agree with gibby1. I'm holding my origial stake and taking up just over 50,000 new shares. I'll be selling my TW on Monday morning to get the cash. And it's a bonus you can put them in your ISA! GLA and have a great weekend!!!!
