George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
You think so? Could be. But if they say “we have accepted this offer of £1bn but awaiting shareholder approval”
Then another company during this period can still make a counter offer (which we would have to be notified of?)
So let’s say sp goes to near 30p.. before the deal is done somebody could offer 35/40 (bidding war)
Or you think bidding war will also be behind scenes and we will still only be notified once the decision is kind of ‘already made’ as it were
Could be in the Final stages. Pre meditated rns’ throughout the next couple of weeks before
“We are pleased to announce _____ have given an INITIAL offr of £695m”
5% of that plus 2% royalties for life of mine wouldn’t be bad!
RShah good to see you. Thought you had an accident when you spilt coffee and fell off the 14 setting adjustable armchair
I think Norilsk Nickel could be the biggest offer
The grass is greener on the other side - when he’s in the filter bin. Your input is more valuable when not engaging with him. Didn’t he say he’d never come back.. like two days ago. lol the deramping is strong with that one.
But for every deramp there must be a ramp.
BREAKIING 50p BY FRIDAY? RNS MONDAY
Mmmm tillywizz I been thinking about that since 8am. You’ve convinced me- gonna fry it up now.
Ps re hydrate, with some salts too, alkanselzer if you need! Hope you get through the afternoon bud
Hail #EUA
Hey! We have a few Sunday morning overtime workers it seems. Great to see more energy this morning. What’s the first thing you’re going to do once the dividend/share sale will be sitting in your account?
I’ll be booking an all inclusive Beach holiday and drink Long Island ice teas (with Diet Coke cf. full fat)!
Even Eurasia’s low ball hint would see us at 17p, and they aren’t going to accept that for sure. (Plus Dmitry didn’t invest for over a decade to see his investment 3 bag lol).
Exciting, can’t wait for next week and the week after.
because your house is sitting on a crap load of underground cash and many people are interested in getting it quickly.
the estate agents [banks] love a quick commission too
Def up for a meetup above 25!
30p here we come. have a drink and have a laugh at some of print outs of these bb posts
re: when monch could start churning out the pd.. would guess 6-12 months up and running? then 2021+ will be a totally different company
good questions ! When can we expect Monchetundra to be producing? not sure but by 2021 should be profitable- I think i saw 110m+ but cant be sure. should be somewhere
Flanks again i am not sure. but I was interested in similar things so glanced at montechundra previous licences etc.
5th Dec 2017 Monchetundra Application & West Kytlim Update
"We are very pleased to have submitted the Monchetundra mining license application, our second application in just over three years. We are hopeful for a reasonable processing time and have the in-house knowledge and experience to make the process as smooth as is possible. We look forward to updating on the application's progress in due course."
2nd Feb 2018:
Highlights:
- Rosnedra has approved a draft of the mining permit and has forwarded the relevant documentation to MOD and FSB.
- Once the mining permit is approved early stage operations can commence at Monchetundra.
- Mining permit application progressing considerably quicker than the company expected.
Christian Schaffalitzky, Executive Chairman at Eurasia commented "We are very pleased with this result and the efficiency of the officials at Rosnedra in processing this application. The experience of our staff in Russia, gained from successfully processing a similar mining permit for our West Kytlim Project has proven invaluable. We look forward to providing further positive news in due course."
The application has now progressed from Rosnedra, who manage the entire mine permitting process, to the MOD and FSB.
RNS: 05 December 2018
The mine permit was awarded by government decree made public on 20 November 2018 (see RNS dated 20 November 2018)
yep I believe it's 100% from wk. Will monch be 100% or 80%
not sure about accuracy but in the interview dmitry gave it sounded like 15moz was comfortably there
I think the potential seems to good to be true. but thats why its so exciting.
Lol i know. Big risk for me but
I BELIEVE IN ZE FUNDAMENTALS!
Lol take a punt? I am deeply invested here. Overly invested- despite knowing I should balance out the portfolio. It’s a risk. And I’m a risk taker.
I hold here, and a little bit in a Zimbabwe diamond company. But I am praying for an offer before Xmas, since this is too nerve racking!
After long debate, hovering just over a millionshares at 2.33 I would be happy with 20p at 23.3p
aka 17.7p dividend with 5-6p in share price. For me £233,000 can help me with finances, deposit for house, security and big pressie for wife (Jamaica xmas is the plan!)
Although, I would be happy with half of that. Anything North of 25p and I've vowed to do certain things; already planned which charitable donations I want to give, I promised myself I wouls learn a little bit of Russian and visit one of our (ex?) assets. All in all, I am sure we would all be happy with profits but the beauty about a sale is - there isnt much by way of greed in cashing out- one day it'll just be there in our accounts. and the figure is set. so we get what we get? and we should be grateful
Q. Well your strategic adviser Alexei Churakov put out this number of 40moz how does that come about?
A: What Alexei meant, on the Kola peninsula there have been a number of exploration taken place. So It's not only us - it's ANGLO AMERICAN that has been doing extensive exploration programme within a big chunk of land, which WE ARE GRADUALLY GOING TO APPLY FOR. Also, there have been [Norilsk Nickel], as I mentioned, doing exploration. Then the [Barrick] doing the exploration, again, on a big licence. A palladium licence. And some other players.
And we are looking at those projects as well, because as a mining company our MAIN business is to produce the metal - which we are successfully doing - at our operating mine. So we've proved that we can do it, and we've done it before on a different project, our team members.
And then, basically, our second job is to continually increase in our resource base. And we are looking at different options, and what Alexei mentioned was that there are A NUMBER OF DEPOSITS which are CLOSE TO OUR deposit WHICH in total have this "40 moz" so that's what he meant.
Q: Is that on top of the "15moz" or "Total"?
A: Can't speculate [total?] That's something we are looking into, right. So once we apply for those areas - and we will go through a step by step standard licencing process, which we have been doing before - so once APPLIED for those areas, WE WILL DISCLOSE ALL THE DETAILS (Now, as a director, I wouldn't speculate about that).
Q: But have you begun the process of Applying, then?
A: Well, the process of applying basically consists of piling together quite a significant amount of documentation. And, of course, through the process of looking at different projects, we are first accumulating this information and ONCE WE ARE READY, we apply- because applying [is like clicking a button] but, the preparation work needs to take place first.
ADDITIONAL NOTES FROM PREVIOUS RNS':
Tue, 26th Mar 2019 11:26 [RNS Number : 0459U]
Eurasia's Monchetundra Project occurs at the triple junction of three major igneous massifs, namely
The Monchetundra Massif
Monchepluton Massif and the
NKT (Nittis Kamushnaya Travanya Massif)
Significant exploration and mining have occurred in these massifs in the past, including exploration and open cast and underground mining in base metals including Nickel and Cobalt, as well as PGM, mostly Palladium
Eurasia's focus will be on potential additional areas' prospectivity in terms of Palladium, Nickel and Cobalt.
TGK, Eurasia's 80% owned subsidiary, and the holder of the Monchetundra Mining Permit can apply uncontested for areas on the 'flanks' of the existing license which do not contain an approved reserve and are within 5km of the current mining license.
TGK can also apply for areas on the flanks of the license where a state approved reserve is already registered, though this can be contested.
Other company's applying for areas within the 5km flanks
congratulations mac that’s a very low av! You’re gonna smash it when the sale comes in!!!!
Hi sorry posted this already but in case any one has missed it, or isn’t on twitter, uploaded the multiple RNS’s that Dmitry said we should refer to, during his interview.
Rushed and sloppy but tried to highlight some key points.

dropbox.com/sh/ak8rewy0pkvqgzz/AAAKnn_EoKwjcLiDrFTCIhMka?dl=0
Will try and make a more user friendly shorter one to highlight key points if I get a chance. Thanks to the earlier posters summarising the interview with key points too (saved me the time to type that up!)
Listening to the interview again.. some really interesting points about the work going on in the areas. Including big names like NN, and AngloAmerican.
Perhaps this could mean that they’ve done a lot of work on the ground already, so if for example N/Nickel made the purchase, there would be considerably less work to do for an asset sale for everybody
Hahaha miner sorry I should have been more clearer.i meant this virus ridden LSE BB board!
I wonder if some millionaires would keep in touch here.
Or if rbjp will still be rambling on about 1.5p buy in
Taiz... I’m on safari iPhone
