As no recent production data is available on the Kimmeridge reservoir, the appraisal works are considered important by the applicant to confirm how the reservoir performs. The well will therefore be subject to more extensive technical evaluation than normal production wells. It is initially planned that the well will be produced for a period of up to eighteen months, during which time the bottom hole and surface pressures will be continually monitored and the results of downhole surveys analysed. Following approximately twelve months of data gathering and detailed study, the applicant envisages that the operator will have sufficient information to issue a report to the OGA detailing the results of the appraisal, including an estimate of the resource present. Further appraisal will be dependent upon the results of these initial works and, if required, further data gathering will be undertaken.

Bobby but Martinas post don’t deserve any other response, typical investor that invests at the wrong time then blames the company and everyone else! I couldn’t careless what has happened in the past I invested here at 7p initially and have averaged up over the past weeks because I can see huge upside once the scoping study is delivered and beyond! No one likes to see a placing but you have to understand why and what the money is being used for them make a decision on whether it is a p*ss take rinse raise or a genuine raise IMO this is a genuine raise they appear to be running ahead of schedule on the scoping study and want the funds to continue proving it up straight away this will only create positive momentum!

Vexed yes I see this making me the same as what I thought all the placing has done is created a short term churn that doesn’t bother me RNS game is what matters I heard all this rubbish when VRS placed at about 14p and 18p people moaning people selling I was adding because I could see the opportunity.....

3.4. Appraisal of BRX4Z General
In order to assess BRX4Z it will be subject to a period of appraisal in order to confirm whether the volume and flow of hydrocarbons is economically viable to support longer-term commercial production. In essence this will involve producing the well to assess its productivity and, at the same time, measuring and sampling the produced fluids. The rate of decline of production will also be measured as an indicator of the potential volumes present in the reservoir.
By its very nature the appraisal of a well is an open ended process that evolves as new information is gathered. Throughout the appraisal period the process will therefore continue to evolve and be actively managed, based on the information obtained.
In order to allow sufficient time to complete this process and, if required prepare and submit a planning application for longer term production, permission is therefore sought for a 3 year period.

You’ll note the word production used quite often....

I’m not being difficult you said we’ve got 3 years and then we have to apply to SCC again which is rubbish and wasit agreed both talking rubbish it’s production full stop and then updating OGA with flow rates nothing to do with SCC anyway both boring me now

The well will be initially put into production using underbalanced perforating and with downhill gauges present. There will be an initial "test period"

Production being the KEY word just because they will be testing the flow rates does not mean it’s an extended flow test like HH hence why he’s put test period in speach brackets

So basically by agreeing with harts your trying to tell me that in 3 years we have to apply to SCC to start producing instead of flow testing from the Kimmeridge LMAO

Where did I say there going to open up the valves they will obviously open it up slowly until they find the optimised flow rates but that’s a whole different conversation it was suggest earlier we are just flow testing which is incorrect we are producing oil that’s why we have a production licence and not an exploration licence
